Finally turn 18 today 8-)

Nothing planned for today, just gonna chill as usual and maybe order some pizza.

Hopefully going to finish a few digipaintings that I had started a month ago, lol, I have so much unfinished work ¬__¬

Happy birthday! \'

Happy birthday!!!

So don't let anyone tell you you're not worth the earth,

These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf,

Don't let anyone tell you that you've got to give in,

Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything,

Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel,

Tear up the book and write your own damn rules,

Use all that heart, hope and soul that you've got,

And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut,

And realise that the other world that you're always looking for,

Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door,

And it's up to you to go out there and paint the canvas,

After all, you were put on the earth to do this,

So shine your light so bright that all can see,

Take pride in being whoever the [bleep] you want to be.

I hope you have a better 18 than I'm bound to next year. I WILL get dragged into a pub and forced to drink alcohol against my will -.-
If you seriously don't want to drink, just be firm about it. If they don't listen, plan to do something else.

Or you may enjoy it. You never know.

Trust me, they won't listen. I've told them over and over but that didn't stop my mum [bleep]ing my drink (I realised though and didn't drink it). The only way they're getting me to come is if they literally force me, I WON'T be guilted into going to the pub, not this time. My dad can threaten to leave all he wants, I'm not going to do it.

Whoa whoa wait, hold on here. Your mum did WHAT?

...what kind of a parent would do that?

Anyway, I was feeling crappy and so I took a nap. I'm much better now. ;D

Rofl yeah she did. I thought I was being paranoid at the time but a few weeks back she told me (while drunk) and I was like AHA!

It's the 'I want me daughter to be normal and drink like everyone else we know does' sort of parent.

Wey, its summer!

27th October I went out with friends and played manhunt in a graveyard and then got attacked by a swarm of wasps :-#

28th October I didn't do much until I was invited to stay at a girls house ;) but don't get the wrong idea, she's just my friend :) But we had chinese and I had an arguement with her dad because he supports Sheffield Wednesday :-#

29th October I caught up on sleep from the other 2 days where I got little to none.

I also played RS for a bit on all those days among other little things :)

If my parents tried to pull something like that on me I probably wouldn't speak to them for a while to be honest. I've seen how some of my friends behave when they're drunk. I don't really want to go there at all.

Heh. It's not like it isn't normal to drink - it's just how much you drink. At the end of the day it is very much a personal choice, and it's important to make people understand it.

Actually, the way it seems here, it's not normal to not drink.

Seriously, I've been viewed as strange because I choose to not drink.

So have I. Although, in Canada, most people DO drink, especially underage it would seem.

I woke up and read a couple of chapters in The Rainmaker, but won't get too much farther today on account of the fact I have to work again today. Oh well, the pay should be alright next week.

happy birthday.

My teeth hurt a [bleep] of a lot, I wore my retainer for the first time in a couple weeks last night, and it moved my teeth, and they hurt, I need to start wearing my retainer more often.

I don't talk all that much to my mum and dad anyway.

I really think my mum and dad want me to go out and get drunk out of my head every night like they seem to do. I think they think that if I get drunk they can make me more normal. I honestly never want to get drunk. Or drink at all.

Anyway my neck is hurting so I might lie down...

And Racheya, you don't have to get drunk off your [wagon], just have a beer or something. It's not going to eat you, and considering how much you hate alcohol, you probably wouldn't have enough to get drunk.

+1.

Matt: You want that eh? You want everything good for you. You want everything that's--falls off garbage can

Camera guy: Whoa, haha, are you okay dude?

Matt: You want anything funny that happens, don't you?

Camera guy: still laughing

Matt: You want the funny shit that happens here and there, you think it comes out of your [bleep]ing [wagon] pushes garbage can down, don't you? You think it's funny? It comes out of here! running towards Camera guy

Camera guy: runs away still laughing

Matt: You think the funny comes out of your mother[bleep]ing creativity? Comes out of Satan, mother[bleep]er! nn--ngh! pushes Camera guy down

Camera guy: Hoooholy [bleep]!

If you're already not considered normal, drinking will only make you worse. Wise choice.

No don't. Sit upright against a wall or something and relax your neck. Lying down only worsens back/shoulder/neck pain.

I'm rather indifferent towards alcohol, even though I've never had a sip myself. However I know quite a few people that are 16-18 that consider alcohol the work of the devil. Actually that was a bad analogy, one guy is an atheist. :?

I went to walmart, I lurked around the electronics, the manager pulled me aside and asked how much I knew about electronics, and then asked if I wanted to work there. I declined. CBA for minimum wage compared to my 11.50 an hour job.

I found out the elderly man next door is a registered sex offender.

What the [bleep] dude. That's extortionate. I thought it was expensive to go and see Porcupine Tree (I decided against it when I saw it would be £65 for two tickets) but this just takes it.

Yeah I saw 5 bands for about 50$

Anything over 100$ (Unless its like a festival) is absolute bull.

On the topic of bands, Fall of Troy announced their tour with locations and stuff.

They're not playing where I'm at, and the closest place is Seattle, and it's a 21+ show.

Muse even mentioned on their website they apologized for the prices of the tickets and how they couldn't control it. And Fall of Troy's closest concert is nearly four hours away. Oh well, maybe I can see them in a few years -.-
