I have a sister. She's 20 years old now. She never wanted to play with me. :(

My sister's heading off to college this fall, which will leave me as an only child.

 

But she's been gone for a good portion of this summer - she was in Taiwan by herself for a few weeks in June, she was in DC for a week a while ago, and she was at orientation a few days ago

 

It's alright, since I'm not too fond of her, and we can still communicate online, but the biggest downside I've felt is that my parents focus so much more on me now. And it's attention I don't want, I've grown used to them basically ignoring me and dealing with my sister instead, and I kind of just want to be left alone.

 

Oh well. My sister's only going to a college like half an hour away. So it should be fine.

Woke up and watched the end of the Tour De France.

 

Went on the computer for about an hour. Went to Walmart to return a mouse and buy a new one for my laptop. Came home, went back online, and am now about to go biking with Toast.

I got up and went to a meeting with my union. We decided we want more money and better training. Then I went to my sister's Sweet 16 and then got my hair cut. It was a pretty boring day.

Bought a couple of posters at the local entertainment store, one a purple Jimi Hendrix poster and the other a sketched/cartoon-ish picture of a guy at a turntable. They look pretty sweet, and my other posters were outdated ;_;

I spent a good portion of the day (5 hours o_o) watching howard goodall's documentaries. Very fascinating stuff. I also found out one melody I wrote is played the exact same way in greensleeves. It's funny, I never listened to the song intentionally before. I guess I must have heard it before, because the melody sounded very famaliar.

Because I am grounded for a week, I have decided to write a memior or two of my grounded life. By the way, I am not completely sure what a memior is. Or if I have spelled it correctly. However, I am going to attempt to do so anyways.

 

 

 

*~*~*~* Day 1 - Today I finally slept in. I have been going and going so much recently that I have not had the chance to do this in a while. I slept until 11:30 and loved every minute of it. Although it is only Day 1, I am not feeling the "grounded" vibe. It honestly just feels like a break, which is nice and relaxing for me. But, when i realize that I can not leave my house, or even have visitors to my house for the next week... I will soon get very tired of this I'm sure.

 

 

 

I awoke and started my day thinking... "I need food." That is generally the first thought that comes to mind when I am not entertained. After work with no plans? hmm... I need food! Go on break, no plans? I need food! Watching sitcoms all day long at home? I need food.

 

 

 

So what do I do? I..... cook. wait, what?! yea, cook. From what I learned from Dillon Bradshaw, I threw 2 eggs in a skillet, added some salt, a little vinegar, some paprika, a hint of cocoa butter, and made some knockouts. Ihop, Cracker Barrell, Waffle House... ha, they got nothing on me. My eggs was killas. Also, made some oatmeal with milk, sugar, and yea, for some random ingredient just to try to "spice" things up (hahahhaaha i kill myself with my punny jokes...), i put some vanilla extract in there. A bad idea.

 

 

 

As it is now 3:28, I have much more day to drag on through... But the last thing I have done was break out the muffins. That is correct, I cook, I clean, I am a cutie, I have good sense of style, AND I bake. Any takers on some wedding bells? Yea, and these cinnamon roll muffins are not just some to laugh at. They are LEGIT. SHIZZNIT.

 

 

 

Aite, well I'm off to grab some lunch.... because i have no plans. so yea, I need food. Btw- Bernie Mac show has become my new fav... i wonder when new episodes are comin out????

 

 

 

~`~ Day 1 (6:49 PM) - I have nothing to do here. I plugged in my little wii wii and played mario for the past 2-3 hours. Gosh, I am a loser. But hey, I'm grounded so it's aite. That one level with the little tower (haha, "little tower"... oxymoron ... oops) and [bleep]y things kept giving me trouble but i got past it. Now I have a bit of a headache from being inside all day and feeling like a nerd.... hmm.... What to do next? Probly food actually lol.

 

 

 

Um... other things to mention... Kenzie came over and got books. She gave me some mula' so it's all good too. Seeing a face other than my dang parents' was nice. Although, it has only been one day. I would be TERRIBLE in solitary confinement, LEMME tell you... Now I got my itunes on shuffle.. At times I enjoy it, like when raconteurs comes on and rock out... But I just hate it when the "shuffle" kicks in and a hard rock-mixed with-rap song comes on i don't even want to be a part of comes on.. But I guess that is the downside of 8,400 songs. You never know what is gonna pop up.

 

 

 

OH! I almost forgot to mention. I "already had this planned before I got grounded"... But Beau called and reminded me that I am working a friend's wedding this Saturday. haha - 7 1/2 hours into groundidge and I am already plotting my escape.... Saturday - NO HOME! yes.... And it's probably gonna be "too late to come home that night"... so I'll just spend the night with beau. ;) hehe ya'll know what it is!

Day 1 (10:49 PM) - So.... basically can i go ahead and say "SCREW." I have done this post a countless number of times, but when someone sends me a dang IM, and then i press backspace when i am typing in the note, the backspace button acts as a "let's go back to the last page and erase ALL of noa's work since the last post" button... this has happened TWICE already! dang it! ... i mean, that's not really "countless...." but still... and just to clerify, it doesn't erase ALL my work... just from the last post.

 

 

 

anyways, Now I have my shuffle on once again, but I am writing outside... it helps calm the nerves and give a nice, peaceful environment for my writing to spread it's wings and fly away like a butterfly...

 

At dinner, I realized I like grilled vegetables. I don't know what it is about them, but they just taste sweet to me. This attraction to warmed veggies began at salsarita's - I was closing up shop... and we have to throw out rice, shrimp, and the veggies cuz no one will want day old, rotten, dried, disgusting, putrid food. am i right? (nice description i know, i know.) but yea, so i decided I would make my nightly specialty - a bowl of rice, with some shrimp on top, and then i "borrow" some queso to go on top. :) it's not bad. lemme tell you. at least for FREE food, not bad. not bad. But, after I already made 3 bowls of this, and began throwing out the already browned vegetables... i decided to grab a nibble... ya know what, maybe the longer they sit out, the better they taste because they were spectacular. maybe it's like rahul would say "the browner the better"

 

 

 

ahhh - see this is why people call me the "einstein of our age".... (actually, no one calls me that. nor has anyone ever thought that. but....) **btw - interruption to say - i began trying to type "nor" in the parenthesis... and accidentally typed "noa" lol.... just thought i would share that with you folks. continue!** so... back to the genius comment - i just copied my work so that if another Facebook IM/Backspace incident occurs, i won't have to retype every-single-dang-thing i already typed. uhthankyou.

Now, back to the memior.... As many of you know, i "lost" my ipod... >:l

 

so now i am music-less. Now, this is an obvious problem because ... it's an IPOD! but... for me, tis more. My music is my life. i looked and realized i have exactly 8700 songs in my itunes. yea, i'm serious when i say i like music. I can't function properly without my ipod. I can't run - i will realize that i am running and won't make it more than a mile on my 5 mile run! I can't enjoy driving - the radio plays songs over and over and over and over and over and over and OVER again! i can't stand it. i swear, a week ago i heard the "to the windooowwwww, to the wall, to the wall" song. TWICE IN ONE DAY! really?! music has progressed this far since that song came out, but you are still that addicted to it?!.... no thanks radio. so in addition to running and driving, i can no longer shower either. I only have ipod speakers... so i can no longer enjoy showers... i mean, i guess i CAN shower... but what's the point?? i'm stuck at home anyways right?? haha - that's a joke. of course i still shower. ;) but it's boring now. i can no longer sing to any music i love, and now have to make it up as i go along and it usually ends up PRETTY dang sketchy...

(no, i am NOT putting either : (A) backstreet boys (B) n'sync © britney spears or (D) spice girls.) sorry.

 

but i am actually lookin for some chill, alternative music like BEN FOLDS or COLDPLAY or... RELIENT K is a good one... SWITCHFOOT's old stuff was good... WEEZER... etc. but i want new stuff lol. i wouldn't be asking if i wanted to just put that junk on there.

 

 

 

now, to end my first day of memior-ing... i am gonna go finish that cd. jump in the shower... maybe meditate.... who knows... also, remind me to tell you of "OMG :o ----> 11:17!"

Ugh, I am annoyed. I bought a Magical Girl figurine on the internet for £21.99 but for some reason my credit card wasn't valid (it never is!) so the person told me to re-order it with a different card but the price was raised up to £27.99! I need to carry on finding websites that sell figurines and models at a decent price >__> The search begins.
