I got my glasses today. I can finally see the 3rd dimension people always talk about. How much do contacts cost? Glasses are uncomfotable.

I really wish I could sleep. I need to get up at 7 tomorrow, and that only leaves 5 and a half hours for sleep assuming i fell asleep right now.

 

Anyhow, I'm going to attempt to sleep, I'm in a good mood now. I feel special, I'm in adrenal's siggy.

Today I discovered something.

 

 

 

In an event of absent-minded-ness I left some jam on a knife. It was spread real fine.

 

 

 

I had forgotten to keep it back in the cupboard and thus overnight [and the night being a cold one] the jam had condensed and "clumped" together.

 

 

 

In my desperation to save the jam, the next morning I tried spreading on bread. Alas !

 

 

 

It could not be done.

 

 

 

I then proceeded to use my teeth to scrape off the jam. Oh what a taste sensation ! Gooey and gummy, and sweet and runny. The most satisfying sweet feeling in terms of texture.

 

 

 

How to describe it. Like a semi-liquid gummy bear without the gelatin and the acidity. True gummy sweetness.

 

 

 

Unfortunatley while licking the knife, my mouth got hurt...

I have a pretty boring life so.. the best thing that happened today was when I was doing my (awesome) Borat impression and 3 guys around me tried. They failed and I lol'd.

Just faceplanted T-Barring the doubles at my local dirt jumps. I was still in the T-bar as I manualled down the landing ramp. I knocked myself out for a few seconds. I have a bit of a headache now.

It appears that while ff and gimp work better together because they hog less resources at the same time, when one's trying to hog all the resources it still fails.

We tried having a LAN at tafe during our break, CS 1.5 was copied to all machines, but the CD key wasn't, so we didn't have one. So no LAN. :wall:

I think that would be frowned upon by those in charge of my computer... It's really just the age of the comp (like 10yrs, still on Win2000) and the fact that I'm running a resource-heavy flash app (Pandora) in ff at the same time.

I had crippling insomnia last night. Fell asleep at about 5, had to get up at 6 to work out with my brother and dad. Really sucks, because I can't sleep now either.

Today I celebrated my Grandfather's birthday. He will be turning 69 tomorrow. Later today I'm going to the county fair. I'll be eating funnel cake, fresh lemonade, and watching a demolition derby. :thumbsup: It will be awesome. Right now I have to go mow the back yard, but I volunteered to do it so I'm not mad.

Baaah. I've spent the last half an hour planning my journey to the Trafford Centre so I can go there, watch Harry Potter and come back before my brother comes home from school. It's a nightmare considering the bus takes an hour there. There IS a closer cinema to me, the only problem is I have no idea where it is so I'd get lost :?

I've got an idea that will take stage presence to a whole new level - backflips.

Yep, when you fall off the stage you definitely won't be present anymore.

It will work! I just have to find a way to keep the floor clear of equipment and get a cord-less way to connect my guitar to my pedals, and my pedals to my amp. Eventually I could try frontflips! Or double frontflips! That would be so cool!

Hmm, no, it won't, way too risky with a guitar. Just move around

Forget backflips and frontflips. Gazing solemnly or mournfully at your shoes gives you a 100% boost in on-stage charisma!

I've got a brilliant idea now - for the first few songs I'll do what Silversword said, then for the last song I'll set my guitar down and just run around on the stage doing flips and spinning around in circles like a helicopter!

If you're in the audience-unnerving mood, make sure you contrast with the song. For example, be gazing at your shoes during lively songs and jumping around like a hyperactive bunny during quiet numbers.

 

 

 

Or you could be like Boredoms and just jump around everywhere anyway.

I've spent almost all day sleeping, having weird dreams about friends and going out of town.
