(Though 20 and 30 year old is considered fine.)Maybe it's just because I'm used to it and don't really think much of it as a result. I mean, I suppose there is nothing wrong as long as the 17 year old does anything illegal, but they'd still get weird looks. It's basically the same age gap to 20-25, which would be accepted. Hawks Posted July 20, 2009 Share Posted July 20, 2009 I went over to my grandma's house and set up her new computer for her. only problem was her modem wasn't plug and play (it's like 12 years old). so I tried to get the driver off the laptop. I had a flash drive, but the laptop's so old it doesn't understand them, and there was a driver on the flash drive but I deleted it. So I tried to put it on a floppy, except the new computer doesn't have a floppy drive. I couldn't burn it on a CD because the laptop can't do that, plus I had no blank CDs. So I went home and got the driver off the internet, along with the java and adobe reader installers. then I just copied the app files for Adobe Flash/Shockwave and Macromedia Flash cause it wouldn't download right. Going back tomorrow to finish the internet set up... She's got Norton and we're going to see what about that because the subscription doesn't run out until Nov, but we need to get a new copy of it for the new computer. She still has dial-up, and we're trying to convince her to get a cellular modem, which is why we didn't just go out and buy a new modem. And I showed my mom more fun dorky things to do on my DS. I find myself playing with the $2 apps more than the $20 game (LEGO Star Wars The Complete Saga)... I got the Mario Clock and Animal Crossing Calculators as well as PiCTOBiTS, which is epic. She's decided she wants one for Christmas, though she thinks a DS Lite would be better because she doesn't need/want the Internet/apps/cameras. I also went to a Culver's with an indoor waterfall for the first time. I woke up this morning and my mom said "Hey one of your cousins plays in a rock band as well!" :wall: "Okay. What's the band's name?" "The Tyler Bryant Band. Grandad says that he played with Styx last month." "O.O" I've gotta jam with him sometime! :lol: Nothing like finding out your related to someone cool. Yep. Coolest living people I know I'm related to are: My cousin Jade, who plays in a Spanish screamo band that's big at the University of Colorado (or Colorado State, something like that), and my Uncle Jimmy, who's a major producer at Big 3 Records. Anyways, I found out the phone (Sony Ericsson C905a) I want came out, like, yesterday. But I can't upgrade to it for free. About 180 dollars off of free. Then I sat at home, browsed the internet, and played video games all day long. I had a bit of cleaning to do since my mom was bugging me, but that was it. I have senior pictures tomorrow so I took off work. My boss yelling at me, cuz we were missing 40$, he doesn't think I took it, he knows I didn't, but I'm always supposed to call him when money is missing, Because we had some stealing money who we had to fire. And corporate is coming in from Friday-Sunday, because we're doing so badly. (money wise) which doesn't really make sense, the only complaints we ever get is that we don't have hardshell tacos. I'm not looking forward to Saturday. I drove my bro to work (he works at my job as well, he's 21,I'm 18, and I'm his boss lol) I got home, listened to my mom tirade once again about how Obama is bringing this country down. I don't like Obama, and most people know, but my mom has this deep hatred for him, and any Democrat. Every Democrat is the worst ever. I'm tired of it. Then I baby sat my sister, all day. My only day off this week, and I now know the tune to Suite Life with Zack and Cody. My dad came home yelling cause he was late to Work again. He told me to go take a three mile walk outside, because I told him to shut the [bleep] up, and no one cares about his [bleep]ing job. He said it would make me happy. So I grabbed my ipod, and listened to MM and played Robo Defense on my google phone. Which let me say, for a game that's free, is way more fun then RuneScape. Kinda sad tbh. Came home, sat at the table as m family gorged on pig intestines and cloven hoofs from pigs injected with a wanna be cheese paste, affectionately known as Bratwursts. I just sat there. Went up stairs, wrote some songs, messed around on my piano, came down stairs to see why my parents were fighting. The show was dumb >.< Came back upstairs, and started posting on TIF. Fun fun. Can't wait for my 4-midnight shifts to start back up tomorrow til next monday. Fun. Here's a tip folks, never be a leader, Ironically, it gets you nowhere in life. Well at least in fast food.
