Boris5000
We get buried :-# I've actually been thinking about this... Since no one has come back to life from the dead we don't have any actual information... Being honest I think when we die, the brain is still active so we would go into a never ending dream where whatever happens I guess... But then again, I have also been thinking about reincarnation so I am just :wall: I wouldn't mind reading your thoughts on this matter... Zierro
I think time goes in a circle rather than a line. You die, then you repeat your whole life over and over again. That could be why we have Deja Vu. I just don't see how there could be a "beginning" or "end" to it all.
InkofDeath
Since we can't comprehend nothingness, we can't comprehend dying. Which is what happens in my mind.

The Dark Lord
Our bodies decompose? I really haven't given any thought of what may happen after life. I'd rather be surprised than have a strong belief regarding the afterlife (or even lack therof). I would love the idea of reincarnation better unless the world just changes for the worse and becomes some weird George Orwellian society or whatever. The idea of being in the heaven with the very same God that sent millions of people to hell just doesn't appeal to me. Then again I pose this question: "How can an all-loving God send someone to an infinite amount of time in hell for committing a finite amount of sin while they were alive?" But since we can't prove God (or disprove) the idea of nothing happening after death (cease to exist, enter nothingness) is just as valid as any statement of an afterlife. So really, your guess is just as good as mine. SWAG Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on.
Rainy_Day
I believe we simply die, and cease to exist. Nothing more nothing less. But I'd like to think that there is more to death than ceasing. An afterlife would be interesting, but I just don't believe it could exist. I think time goes in a circle rather than a line. You die, then you repeat your whole life over and over again. That could be why we have Deja Vu. I just don't see how there could be a "beginning" or "end" to it all. Very interesting idea. It could explain why we experience Deja Vu, but why would time be constantly repeating itself, it just seems to random for time to do that. How would history explain itself aswell. Or does time continue in 2 variations (one continuous, more people born/more people die, the world develops more. Then one where once we've died, our life is repeated for eternity, without full memory of the life (only tiny glitches of information, hence deja vu). :-k ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)RIP Michaelangelopolous

But the population of all species combined grows each year, so where would new 'life' come from to fit into the new bodies/creatures born? Jimmyw3000
You do know flame wars are gonna start because some strong religionist is going to post "We get sent to heaven". Anyway, imo after we die, we just stop. Our brain, which controls our emotions and thoughts, stop, and then that's it. There's nothing after life, because once out brain goes bye-bye, there's nothing we can do, and nothing we can feel, and nowhere we can go. Well that would just be their view though. Everyone is open to posting their view on the matter, it is just whether people respond in a negative manner (of which would be removed). EarthySun
Like most of you (apparently), I think that we do not ascend to heaven when we die, or go to hell: we simply stop working. It actually makes life seem somewhat of a waste, doing all of that just to shut off in the end? It really isn't a very appealing though to me... :| So, basically Earthysun is Jesus's only son. Ginger_Warrior
I'll be burnt in a Crem, my ashes will be spread over some place, and end up in soil where they'll provide plants with carbon-based nutrition to grow. My death will help something else grow. Such is the carbon cycle. That's my positive way of looking at it anyway. I don't believe in spirits, so heaven's out of the question. | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |

deloriagod
I like to think there's so sort of afterlife. Maybe one that relates no no specific religion, making them all right or wrong (depending on how you look at it). Wouldn't we all look like fools if we all got to "Heaven" only to find that fighting between religions was worthless. I also like the idea of an endless dream state. I enjoy sleeping just for my dreams so spending eternity living in my dreams would be a treat as good as Heaven ;) Internet Marketing For Newbies

Range_This11
You just don't exist physically anymore. That's all that is going to happen. Do you remember before you were born? No, and you're not going to remember when you die either. The human mind has an impossible time comprehending it's own demise, so we like to make up stories about what's going to happen when we die. The real truth: We just cease to exist. "He could climb to it, if he climbed alone, and once there he could suck on the pap of life, gulp down the incomparable milk of wonder."
