I mine only in Heros guild, I think its better than any place in wildy... yesterday I got 8 runite in 9 mins, its ok for me.

This mining place is an alright place, but I fail to see how part C. of your instructions "would" help you from the 2 poison spiders that can attack you from the side of the rune rock opposite from the black dragon...also I wouldn't suggest that you bring antipoison pots, but super antipoison. Past that I will agree this rune rock is a great place if you don't mind the extra running around to get to that place. As well the closets tele spell with ancient magick to get there I believe is the one that takes 96 magic which tellies you just a little east of the ice mountain with ice giants, ice warriors. a cosmic rune respawn, and stiff and it tellies you at wildy lvl 92. (I was a bit bored so I mage potted to get to 96 mage to check out that tele spell)

except the thing is its on p2p, and no one pks at rune rocks on p2p, so you're better off just mining rune normally and getting it done 10x faster.

It sets the room. You know how when you're in a room for a little while, the things in the room stop auto-attacking?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you run to the rune rock, and then back again when you first get in the room, it will set, and stay that way when you move back to the rune rock. If you don't go "set the room", they will turn back on auto attack when you go over there.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I don't know why it works that way, maybe the borders of the rooms overlap somewhat, but this keeps the spiders ignoring me when I run over there.

I, myself, don't mine normally on that route, though it can be an interesting break from the norm. I find the two other rune rocks out in the wide open to be just fine, that is, since I'm very good at running away. :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Although, if you are going as prepared as you suggest, you make it seem like you're a pker/miner, which is fine. However, for the lower levels it's probably good just to take enough to survive, no point taking too much so that it sucks when you die. I'm combat 102, and with 12 sharks, an anti p, and black drag chest/chaps, I do just swell living. I've only ever been killed by groups of 5 or more, and even then I escape most of the time.

weird all these people are angry cause your creating more competition for them...the barrows guide, along with any guide, creates more competition. just in a less direct way. the barrows guide, for example, didnt affect the resource competition but rather the market competition. rune mining on the other hand directly effects the resource competition. Both, however, directly effect the total income you make....

i believe alot of people understand that theirs a rune rock some where near the lava maze, some dont know where exactly. but wow i believe this is how to exploit the landscape of this rock.

Can I see a picture of someone mining the rune rock there? Being squeezed between poison spiders greater demons and black dragons sounds quite erotic.

Its not like this needs to be a guild, honestly nice job it looks great, long read but its good. but there is no reason for this, its not like we need another guild on how to mine rune bro....

too slow for my tastes... I average 700k an hour the way I mine rune. And that's with an average of 10 minutes of things i get distracted by (worldhopping bores me)
