And, you know what, I think deep down that you know that I posted the Barrows Guide to help the poor souls we see down there bashing on Dharok with a scimmy, and bragging about 1000 kill counts. You are well aware that I didn't do the Barrows for the cash, I did it to get the sets. And when I was done, I shared the knowledge. And it wasn't to drop the prices. I know this thread is old but it's oh so funny. I love the sound of the petty squeals the miners made as thier little spot was exposed to the world. I managed to find this spot by myself, whilst i was exploring for my guide (the safe spot guide) and although i can't mine rune I thought it would be a pretty worthwhile spot. I've hallied and ranged there lots of times, and yes it is good and fun, and why not mine rune whilst ur at it? Anyway, no need to re-open old wounds, I wonder what those desperate, slimy miners are doing now for thier rune? Probably following lessters guide.

i think this guide is wonderful. first thing i did after this guide was go to greaters and get a clue there :D. I didnt know such a good hallying spot existed. Since i am 85 mining i may try it out later, and for all the people who flamed him you all are greedy and should remember that this is just a game, so chill out

What's different between this guide and the Barrows guide? Wow, everyone was so appreciative and happy about the Barrows guide. Its funny how a little greed can change a players perspective about helping ppl.

Well said... I know that there are very little rune ore spawns, and that's because it's worth a lot. Don't flame leester because he was helping out the runescape community. Why not post an improvement to jagex instead of of being greedy.

Anyways les himself, in his own words regreted posting this guide. Which is a good guide and needs to be bumped from here to there if i may quote him again. Seems les used to regret posting good guides which need ( or needed) to be bumped from time to time. 1 sugegstion.... If you have gotten up to the part in fairy tale part II to use fairy rings bring a dramen staff so that you can have acess to like 30 more teleport locations. Its took me a few hours to do part 1 then ge tup to fairy rings in part 2. Its worth it and saves a lot of time. Its also fun bringing monkey gree grees ad teleporting to unicorn pen! I prefer gorilla but bring karajma, ninja, and zombie too.

Hmm.. you'll find that the hero guild rocks are VERY well mined. People are in there day and night mining all worlds, and its very rare to be able to find a rock thats lit up. Keep in mind the respawn on a rune rock is 19 minutes.

 

 

 

But lots of ppl can't stand the wildy, so they try. Once you find a rock thats lit up, make sure you note the time you mined it, and come back at respawn time. Competition is FIERCE at heros guild. And its the "99 Miners Club".
