Press the install button again, and watch for a message bar to pop up just below the location/tab bar, it should say something like "Allow this site to install addons for your browser?". Click allow, then when the timer has counted down in the window that appears, press install.

Whenever i start the game, Java tries to load then it become white... it says in the corner, "Error. Click for details". Note when i remove the Microhelper this doesn't appear and Java loads successfully.

another note, Sometime it works without these problems... rarely.

For those who'd like to see the "Details" i had from Java console:

q: hide console

r: reload policy configuration

t: dump thread list

I get the same problem, although it's rarely an annoyance for me because I can usually get around it by refreshing the page a few times or by reopening the game window from the main page. However, it sometimes takes quite a long time to work.

Are you absolutely sure that it's microhelper making your computer lag?

Do you have the latest updates for your browser, and the latest java update?

At the top of your Firefox window:

Tools>Add-Ons

Scroll down to the Tip.it Microhelper > Left Click on it > Disable

If you want it permanently gone, instead of disable click Uninstall.

You have to take off everything except your gloves and boots. WTF JAGEX?

Don't forget about the ring, you can keep that one to :)

And your necklace.

And quiver! This is fun :P!

It is a FireFox Extension, so my guess would be that it does not work on Gewgl Chorme.

Hey guys, I've noticed when running the microhelper in HD mode that the java applet flashes white whenever I pass from the microhelper to the applet or vice versa. It can get a bit annoying when I'm just scrolling around and happen to pass over part of the microhelper. I've otherwise had no issues with the microhelper itself, and I expect it will be very handy when it comes to co-ordinate locating :D.

I'm running up-to-date Java and Firefox.

(As a side note you may want to consider adding a quick "Uninstall" process to the Microhelper page, it may stop all the people posting here who haven't read through the thread first before posting).

I can't get the Crafting Calculator to show anything besides the 'Leatherworking' option. It doesn't matter what's in the 'Type' dropdown.

Sorry if this is posted to the wrong spot, I looked for an indication of where I should put this and it's possible that I missed it.

Anyway! When I try to use the Crafting Calculator on Microhelper, it only shows the Leatherworking options. Never any of the others when I try to switch boxes in the dropdown menu. It'll show the option I picked in the menu, but what's shown doesn't actually change. (Except for the amounts of the items needed changing as a result of gaining XP.)

Hi, registered just to get help on this issue :P

When I downloaded the Minihelper from the site, Java came up with an error.

Then, I downloaded the Beta posted by a Tip.It staff member in this thread - Now I get the search bar at the top, but Java does not load.

What I mean by "Dosen't load" is it stays on the circular loading screen, I have left it for 30 minutes and its still on the screen.

Any suggestions?

for hd version microhelper

the coordinates maps will not drag'n'move

i think it would be kind-of nice if you could drag it and get the coordinates from the point you dragged to

this would be useful in combat

but then it would need dungeons witch can be another link

it also needs a zoom and the map box is slightly smaller just to where it sits on top of every icon that does not have one of runescapes boxes (inventory, worn equipment, etc...)(where it shows the skills, items, spells, etc...)

and the toolbar should be on the top of the screen just bellow the discriptions

If the toolbar were on the top of the screen, you wouldn't be able to see the ingame hover options.

Okay um it's been a week and this thing still hasn't been updated and nobody here is talking about an update possibly being in the works to fix the split private chat over lay. Is this thing ever going to get updated ever again or what? I'm about to throw this piece of crap of my Firefox.

It works fine for me. Which version of the microhelper do you have? The Standard Detail or High Detail version?
