I logged on recently, and it didn't really catch my eye at first but I noticed an advert on Runescape featuring 1 nude woman, and two partially nude women. The advert was the banner type, and was rather small, but you could still see what was to be seen. It asked me "do you want 18+ women tonight?", that was the text on the ad. I reported it to Jagex, so hopefully they take care of it. And to put some point to this rant, I was wondering how Jagex allows those ads? But I think it's the ad company that puts up any ad they want so I'm not sure.

Jagex doesn't choose what ads they put up, their advertising agency is basically thrown several hundred various ads based on their preferences. Some ads get through the barrier though. There's nothing Jagex can do about this other than pick them off as they come, and they're not doing it intentionally.

OT: As stated before Jagexhas no control (not complete control anyways) over what ads are showed. I distinctly remember seeing a poll ad for DOA: XBV, Tomb Raiders, and Blood Raine (sp?). First and third games are M. What are M game ads doing on a supposedly E 10+ internet game? I laughed myself to death not only when I repeatedly saw the ad for about 6 days, but it came back about a year later, exactly the same and everything :lol: :lol: :lol:

Accidents with ads happen. I recall (and still have picture evidence of) the incident with Tip.it and a popular type of entertainment...

 

 

 

In summary, just report it. They'll fix it. No need to second guess Jagex's priorities.

Okay. First of all, if a guy has a picture of a woman in sexually suggestive poses, they deserve to get owned by Jad, bar none. Here's why -- there aren't any advertisements on Members. So yeah, if something happened to "pop up" while fighting Jad, my semi-sincerest condolences go out to you.

 

 

 

Next, and keep in mind I'm only analyzing this from a pleasure-vs.-time point of view, if the guy wants to give up a Fire Cape, which he works for 90 minutes for, in exchange for about 45 minutes of pleasure from looking at something like that, while foolish, it's entirely up to him. If he doesn't mind throwing away the time, he won't care.

How on earth did a pop-up ad get through I thought the advertising company would have rules for runescape ads .
