In the last banner, their was a guy with a drag plate watching an island go down by a dragon. Everyone kept saying it was d slayer 2 or a new quest series. The guy in the pic also had a sailing cape. Neither of those ever came out.

 

 

 

What the hell is wrong with you? First of all the cape had no clear icon on it. Second it wasn't clear what he was wearing for a top the only thing that was clear was that, there was NO [bleep]es on it. Do you think no one else saw the previous banner? I think we're over-anaylsing, They've posted a picture of a red pickaxe, not the adze, a long time ago. That was on the highscores. It still ain't arrived, and nothing in the BTS has mentioned it. Jagex isn't exactly shy about cool future updates like that.

 

 

 

Maybe the banners don't give us detailed hints about future updates but just show pretty pictures of what they'd like the game to look like?

I think that not only is this a banner created to advertise the redone Clan Wars but also contains hints to the new "epic quest" coming out in the early part of '09. After all, like many of you have stated Jagex is going to be leaving clues of the new quest everywhere, and I think including this image and the last banner. I think the quest will involve the slaying of a dragon and possible a reward as great as the Dragon Platemail.

 

 

 

Thats just what I think :

Call me crazy, folks... But with how the top-banner of the RS website has been designed, doesn't it seem much like Jagex's male heads are off in the clouds somewhere? :-s ... Sure, it would be nice for female players to be better recognized, and for women to have more inclination to play. (And heck, they might be able to straighten out tons of other players, as well as Jagex's staff.) However, I don't think we want people going even more crazy over pixels that render mere avatars. :?

 

 

 

 

 

Oh well... A revolution of the game, in the coming, does seem possible. -.- ... The question remaining is, "If, and When?"

Notice the armor the guy is wearing with the wierd shield? The armors look the same cept one is red and the other is gray.

 

 

 

Anyone wondering what that shield is?

Looks like an obby shield from the designs coming out from the centre and the kinda red hue.

 

 

 

No idea about the armour... custom steel perhaps?.
