I prefer to type out my words and if I find something funny, I'll put a "haha" in there or some other form of identifiable laughter. September 7, 200817 yr The way I see it I use it and other people use it, its like a word that shows an emotion or phyiscal action. When somone says "Lol, guess what I did today?" I picture it as "Heh, guess what I did today?" Or "Ha, guess...". Only Ha, not Haha. To express anger, so to speak, you would use CAPITALIZED WORDS right? "WHAT KIND OF IDIOT ARE YOU?!" Lol isn't like "HAHAHAHA" type anymore, just like a "Ha" or "Heh". But since we can show these things in the internet, we use these words. PS: Why so serious lol? It just depends on how I feel. If I feel like saying lol. I used it. sometimes I don't. I usually use it to show that I;m amused. slightly amused. if I really laughed out loud.. It is even more of an embarrassment when people say lol, or lawl as its pronounced, instead of actually laughing or being quiet. In lamens terms, lol is [bleep]ing [developmentally delayed]ed. If you choose your beliefs/lifestyle simply based on what your parents want, then you are a weak minded individual and are not even worthy of calling yourself a person.
