just elaborate, that's all i ask

He is referring to player jumping, something that was commonly seen back in the days of pking, and still seen in bounty hunter (at least I think they still do it there, then again I dont know if people still waste there time going to that failhunter place anymore...)

Either way, its really quite and obvious answer, free money without the risk of much potential loss.

You see two people duke it out to the death, both eating their brains out slugging each other for constant 20s, and then one finally falls dead, leaving the other to claim his spoils for himself, then leaving that player with only one thing left to do to bank those spoils...LEAVE.

If you are able to jump on a wounded player with little to no food that seems to be a good money maker right there, 2 sets of pk gear for half the effort of obtaining one. Although quite the 'no honor tactic' though.

Thank you Drum, Yes this has happened to me, it is horrible isn't it. But i can see WHY people do it, its because who really cares about honor? Its the wilderness, Player jumping is just another reminder that the wild is DANGEROUS and if your not careful you will LOSE

OKay now thats some disscussion, right Ouchy?

Why wouldn't you go after the quickest kill?

I thought you meant "Pile Jumping" aka, kill the person who just killed someone to their kills loot, whilst being low on food.

I hate doing it like this, but your question is too open-ended. Your answer is in the following question:

Why not pilejump someone else?

...Alright, the Elf City update lured me back to RS over a year ago.

I mean pj in the game. Pj=player jumping.

it means pile jumping...

They do it so they have more chance killing their target.

we do it 4 teh lulz

I don't know about now, but I can tell you why people used to do it.. to get the kill! Period. A pker goes in the wildy to get kills/loot. trying to find honor in random player killing is just stupid to me unless it's a player involved in a clan war or planned fight or dm. Those are different circumstances. As far as I'm concerned, to a rogue pker, anything and everything is fair game. If you don't like it don't go there. You could probably get a less vague answer if you would describe your specific circumstances and check the teen l33t sp34k at your clan chat door.

Side note: this discussion is a rant in disguise which really annoys me.

The people who PJ does it because they find it a good way to earn money. They don't care if it's a fair fight or not. And that's sad :(

I fail to see how PJing is less dishounorable than camping in front of the abyss, killing skillers, kiiling treasure hunters, killing noobs who are exploring etc etc.
