We're saying to change "one day" into "the whole year" as it will have an even greater effect. And why are you telling us we're pushing the subject? These guys are at least promoting one day of peace, because it's about making conscience of conflict - and that'd already be a big change. If you feel capable of keeping such a joyous spirit the whole year, that'd be even better, so please be my guest and do that. However, you can't ask for the UNO to conduct these public events worldwide the whole year around. September 19, 200817 yr Aye, Meol is hitting the nail by its head. Days like this initiative are meant to give visibility to a certain problem and to promote the many ways of fighting against it. It's a good way of informing people, celebrating good practices and getting the press to give some attention to the issue. I have trouble with this "I'm already being nice every day, so I'm better anyway and couldn't learn a thing from this"-attitude. We do the same with all festivities, do we not? Or do you guys want to skip your 18th birthdays too, since you're going to be 18 for a whole year after all?
