Lateralus
Haha, great win by Burnley! Really awsome goal. Indeed, a cracker it was. It was a fantastic strike. Glen Johnson is looking like a great signing for us. La lune ne garde aucune rancune.

Glen Johnson is looking like a great signing for us. Chelsea were nuts for letting him go to Portsmouth in the first place. OldJoe
I hate this. http://www.whufc.com/page/News/0,,12562~1764772,00.html "West Ham United can confirm that Calum Davenport was being treated in hospital on Saturday afternoon after an incident late on Friday night. The 26-year-old defender and his mum both suffered stab wounds at home in Bedford. His mum is recovering while Calum underwent surgery this morning and his injuries were described as serious by doctors." And: http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/news/46 ... s-leg.html "Sources last night said his injuries were so severe his left leg may have to be amputated - and the next 48 hours are critical. The knife severed a main artery, causing Calum to lose PINTS of blood. Surgeons yesterday battled for FOUR HOURS to save his life. " Maybe it's wrong of me to say this, but i almost wish their firm finds the attackers. -------- Watched Sheffield United - Reading yesterday, was a nice game. In a couple of hours, Burnley - Everton. Looking forward to the match! I must say, Tottenham has played very well so far. 1_man_army
Rangers barely won today, we had to play for 80 mins with 10 men and were a goal down for most of the game but we pulled through with a last minute penalty for the winner. Burnley beat Everton as well. I hate this. http://www.whufc.com/page/News/0,,12562~1764772,00.html "West Ham United can confirm that Calum Davenport was being treated in hospital on Saturday afternoon after an incident late on Friday night. Nobody breaks in to a footballers house (or his mum's in this case) and stabs him in the legs without prior reason. It just seems suspicious to me. OldJoe
Well, Everton were disappointing against Burnley. Really played lousy. But, i'm not a crazy enough football fan to not say well done Burnley (i like their home ground, not all these digital ads... More "old" feeling). On the other hand, Lescott has signed with Man City for 24m £. I hope Moyes bring in a couple of new legs before the window closes... Would be quite needed. I said to a friend this summer that i think Chelsea will bring the title home to them, and it looks like it since they are playing really well. And tonight's match, Liverpool... What was all that about? They played poor in my mind... And Gerrard... No idea what he was thinking. Oy_the_Great
Watched the Barça game against Athletic yesterday, and they played awesome, as I expected/hoped. Ibra looking sturdy, Messi was wonderful of course and Bojan alert to the horrible passing from the defenders, hehe. http://www.footytube.com/video/barcelon ... ug23-21048 if you'd like to check the game yourself. Great website too btw. And I've got a question for any of you football-maniacs out there: if you could create your own dream team, the starting 11 and possibly also 7 subs, what would it look like? Given the facts that players would not have a problem with each other and would already know each other's playing style as if they have been playing together for a long time. Players would also not have a problem being on the bench and all of them were in excellent form. Here's mine: --------------------Torres-------------------- --------Kaká----------------------Messi------- ---------------------------------------------- ---------Fábregas--------------Xavi----------- --------------------Gerrard------------------- ---------------------------------------------- ---Clichy-----------------------------Alves--- ------------Piqué-----------Ferdinand--------- ------------------I.Casillas------------------ Subs: 1/ Buffon 2/ Tomas Vermaelen 3/ Glen Johnson 4/ Essien 5/ Iniesta 6/ Ronaldo 7/ Ibrahimovi? A balanced 4-3-3 with tons of class, can't go wrong unless they're called Madrid. Bill Hicks[/url]":dhj2kan9]Since the one thing we can say about fundamental matter is, that it is vibrating. Phil
Great weekend of football. What an end to the Man Utd - Arsenal game. Also the saints scoring an injury time free kick to rescue a point. Best free kick I've ever seen in person and it sent the whole crowd crazy. Amazing stuff. Bouwzie
Man Utd didn't play really well, and got lucky with the win. :| Oh well, it's the result that counts. Arsenal is playing really well at the moment though.
