Below is a guide I came across for Duo-ing the Corporal Beast. I didn't see this information anywhere on the forums and figured alot of you would value it highly (especially since it seems to be popular opinion on this forum that teams of 5+ are required to take down this monstrosity). Therefore, I am sharing this method here with my friends.

 

 

 

*Disclamer* - This is NOT my guide. I have not tested it myself, but others whom I trust vouch for it. Also, the writer clearly needs to take some grammar or ESL classes (so forgive the author's poor English).

 

 

 

@ Mods: This is a Guide, but I'm posting it here so people can discuss whether or not it works, and how it can be made better. Once some TIFers can confirm that this method is legit, I would request this get moved to Player-Made-Guides.

 

 

 

 

 

How to DUO the Corporal Beast

 

 

 

Hello fellow *edit*, this is my guide to duoing(or with more people) the corporal beast, my english isnt good so just want to let ya know. With this safespot I managed to duo the corporal beast. Soloing is impossible I think.

 

Jagex will prolly remove this safespot after a while just like they did with bandos and sara.

 

For this method u need range gear with ruby bolts e. I know this guide is not very proffesional, lay-out, what armour to bring etc. I only made this guide to show u the safespot. Ok lets start. I assume u have done corporal beast before when reading this guide.

 

Go to the second room of the cave. Right click peek in as shown in this picture below:

 

 

 

 

 

 

When u click peek in u will see this as shown below in the picture.

 

The red dot is the safespot u are going to use. If the monster is in the blue lined area then put magic and go trough the passage with mage pray on and run to the safespot. Once u have him trapped wait like 2 minutes and then tell your friend or friends to come in. I dont know why but if u have safespotted him and your friend will come after it immediately the corporal will attack your friends, if u wait a few minutes u can go in withouth getting attacked by the corporal so u can safely walk to the safespot.

 

 

 

 

 

 

U and your friends are now in the safespot, if the monster is after u, tell your friend(s) to attack the corporal and then get back into the safespot, the corporal should be after him now. Look at the FEETS of the corporal, if u attack him and his feets are moving then he is after u, if not attack him again. IF THE CORPORAL IS AFTER U AND U ATTACK HIM HE CAN ATTACK WITH HIS MULTI MAGIC ATTACK WHICH CAN DAMAGE EVERYONE WHO IS IN THE SAFESPOT ALOT. Keep attacking it untill its dead, it will take a while because u will hit alot of 0s with range.

I don't think this will work, since he heals alot himself and with the Dark Core, but it's worth a try.

Okay. Umm, is a method that lets you duo the CB in 40 minutes REALLY important enough to need a guide? Especially when a 3 man team can take it down in 10 minutes easily and consistently? Without using the safespot, my brother (Level 110) and I were able to take him under 25%... this really isn't much of a secret.

 

 

 

Now if only we could actually get drops...

Forgive me if I am wrong, but in the rules for this section of the Forums, it says that the guides must be your own work. This is not your own work, as someone else wrote it, so shouldn't it be locked?

Yeah, duoing isn't really worth the time spent doing it. In the time it would take to get one drop, you could get half a dozen or more with a team.

Unless you get permission from the author, its stealing weather you take the credit or not.
