September 30, 200817 yr A simple question really. Do you use a cannon on slayer tasks? Personally, I rarely ever use it, mainly because of cost, but also because of the fact that it slows my melee training. I know that you can cover the cost of cannon, but its still an annoyance, especially to keep loading the dang thing. Thoughts? September 30, 200817 yr I don't use one. I train strength via slayer currently so there's really no point.
October 1, 200817 yr You could use one on tasks where its really busy *cough* kalphite's*cough* but I dont have one. Theres nothing I hate more when some high level comes along to kalphite workers sets up his cannon and all of a sudden no kalphite workers left. October 2, 200817 yr Yes, i use it on most tasks that you can make atleast half of the money back. Except for things like kalphites, i use it on them. Well really i use it whenever the guide tells me to Did you know half the worlds population is below average intelligence?
October 2, 200817 yr Ive actually cannoned nearly all of my multi-combat tasks as i liked the fast range exp on the way to 99 range. Also if you can make 350 k + an hour , with 83 slayer you can do this easily ;) then its worth time wise to use a cannon.

October 4, 200817 yr I only used cannon on slay tasks from 65 - 85. I had the worst luck ever. I was about level 106 at the time, my best drops were usually rune and the only drop that topped that off was an obby cape drop so when I heard people were getting abby whips with ease, I invested all my time and money into getting that 85 slayer. Once I got it, I never used cannon on slay tasks ever since as it was a waste of money really - unless you can afford it and are going for 50M+ slay exp

October 23, 200817 yr i only use cannon if i have plenty of cannonballs or on kalphites..i never buy cannonballs.. [spoiler=Sig] I like to think of the Dark Bow like a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) - you get one shot and then you're screwed.

October 24, 200817 yr For me, Slaying is a way to train my melee stats. The Slayer level itself is not a goal, so I'm not wasting millions on cannonballs. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.
