October 12, 200817 yr i use them to get 100k of an item in my bank other than gold, i consider them runescape pogs. sorry about the obscure reference young readers. just collect them or consider them a stacking item ,while at fire giants, for you to trade for your new fury. i love collecting fire runes! :thumbsup:
October 12, 200817 yr They are used in less amounts than other elemental runes, mainly because of the fire staff's many uses. Fire Wave uses more fire runes than air, so people might use the fire staff. Fire staffs are used in alching, super heat, etc. Only time anyone uses fire runes is in combat spells (other than fire wave), and quick alching at gw or other combat areas. October 12, 200817 yr I always use them for fire wave. A dag kings trip usually uses up 4-7k fire runes, and its cheaper than using air runes even though fire wave uses fewer airs than fires. Proud owner of a Quest cape!

However, most just see that fire runes are used more, and go with that.

October 12, 200817 yr Fire runes are useful for Teleporting powerfull spells and packratting Soon they will be usfull again. I am going to get lots of fire runes for ice guy for desert tresure True. But I garentee you, unless you're planning to teleport to trollheim, ape atoll or varrock 190,000 times, you're not about to dent my fire supply. I'm just hangin' on to them until the day comes that a new spellbook comes out that uses fires like barrage uses waters.
