Rune, sorry, only 72 mining.

Reg ess, You're on your own.

Do with this how you will.[/hide]

And that's how the cookie crumbles.

I'd test for rune, but I'm not sure I would use a bronze pick there...

That's actually some pretty big boosts for mining. Still...better used on smithing or something.

It is what it is, and I'm only 72 mining. If I could, mine rune I would.

Wait...maybe I'm looking at this wrong, but could you wear the Goldsmith Gaunts, and have the Morphic thing, and get like awesome exp for gold bars? Or am I insane.

Gold bars are smelted not smithed so no sadly. I did this mistake myself went through calculations and all and then realized that they aren't smithed.

Incredibly large sad face... Oh well.

bump.

Remember most useful info on front page.

I dont need a siggy no moar.

The hammer gives a bonus per item not bar,

So anything that uses 1 bar to be created is the win. Anything 2+ is the fail.

So for mith bolts it would give a +40 bonus at 80% of 50. And for plates it would give +200 at 80% of 250. What am I doing wrong with that?

It's an extra 30.5xp per item for mithril so +30.5 for mith bolts and +30.5 per mithril plate.

So really, I should be making Arrowheads? :?:

^No, anything that uses just one bar has the normal bonus.

If anyone doesnt get this, dont make anything that uses 2 bars or more if you want xp.

What? I think you mean "use something what uses a lot of bars to get bonus xp" right?

You get less xp bonus/bar if you make something that takes more than one bar. You get 30.5 bonus per mith item (platebody/bolts/scimitar), not per bar.

If you want to be cost effective, make things that require 1 bar. If you just want to level fast, bodies are still the best option.

Is the pickaxe fixed or something? Because I got it, and well, it looks cool rather than a bronze pickaxe; or do people just assume it's a bronze pick because it blows...?

Some people use it and it turns into a bronze pickaxe in the visual display, some people use it and you dont mine yet you actually get the ore.

The speed via xp with it doesnt beat normal rune pickaxe mining, it actually doesnt even beat mith.

I dont need a siggy no moar.

Ok. I've taken information on this thread and I've calculated that using the Morphic Hammer with Mithril Bolts yields an extra 15k xp per hour of smithing after you factor in the time to get the tool.

This means that if you played for 1 hour and 20 minutes, and you just made mithril bolts that entire time, you end up with 15k xp LESS than another person who spend 20 minutes getting the tool.

Again, a previous calculation I did with fletching resulted in a 25k bonus xp per hour of work.

It is a equivalent to a bronze pickaxe. Yes, it does 'blow', you'd be better off with an adze or your trusty rune pick.

anyone eager to collect results from volatile harpoon?

my current conclusions from reading this thread:

dont:

-smith stuff that are more then one bar, its bonus xp/item not bonus xp/bar

-use the axe or pickaxe

do:

-use the hammer for one-bar items

-use the hammer for one-plank items

-use the fletch knife

Me behave? Seriously? As a child I saw Tarzan almost naked, Cinderella arrived home from a party after midnight, Pinocchio told lies, Aladin was a thief, Batman drove over 200 miles an hour, Snow White lived in a house with seven men, Popeye smoked a pipe and had tattoos, Pac man ran around to digital music while eating pills that enhanced his performance, and Shaggy and Scooby were mystery solving hippies who always had the munchies. The fault is not mine! if you had this childhood and loved it put this in your signature!
