Interesting program, but wouldn't this be better suited in the Advertise your thing here - all posted elsewhere = removed sticky in the Off-Topic forum?

If you ask me, what your program offers can be done better and faster by Gadwin PrintScreen.

Gadwin works very well, and works with RSHD, in fact even my Visual Basic one saves screenshots in HD lol.

I have Gadwin but IT'S FREAKING SLOW AND MAKES MY COMP LAGS LIKE HELL WHEN I TAKE A PIC! I think it's just my comp so I might try this.

It shouldn't, make sure you have everything turned off except from "save file to *directory*".

Your program seems cool, but I will keep going with paint. I'm so good at tech stuff that I can just work with that very advanced program.

Forgive me, but I didn't understand your post at all... Paint is far from an advanced program.

I also have good news. I've downloaded Gadwin and found it to be a very non-comprehensive program that I could easily incorporate the features of into my program. I've also downloaded a couple other programs including TechSmith's Jing, which will be particularly interesting to... study, more so than the others.

I may also add video-recording capabilities to Screen Snapper, or develop a separate program. We'll see.

Also added a screenshot of my program to the first post as suggested.

Swiftkit is all you need my friend.

It puts watermarks on your screenshots, doesn't it? And my program is not specific to RuneScape (it just comes with a RuneScape AutoCrop file by default), SwiftKit is.

Props to you to actually make the effort to make an application like this. This should turn out well if you slowly improve it overtime.

I'm not going to download until it has the improvements you're thinking of but if you improve on it can you make it so that you can set a rectangular space on your screen as the place that takes the picture everytime instead of making a rectangle each time like Gadwin. This is for the RuneScape standard detail client or the HD small client. The Client button on Gadwin takes a picture of the black part too because it is part of the client that is used for the widescreen HD mode. If you could fix that for your program that would be great. Make it simple and quick too, at the click of a button with no notifications(if set to none in preferences) or watermarks.

print scren | sysrq button on your keyboard.. works PERFECT...

mspaint > all

That requires pasting and manual editing.....this doesn't. You hit one button and get a cropped picture saved to a predetermined folder.

i might actually download this to try it for the next TET event i go to. i haven't taken screenshots at any of the last ones i've been too just cause i'm lazy and don't want too. leave that to everyone else :P this would make it easier. is there any way to edit or add text onto the pictures with it? i don't really feel like looking back to the first page.

Gadwin? Amongst other programs all do the same thing, use less resources, work faster and are probably more stable?

Gadwin's written in C++ I believe, so it's inherently less stable. :) Screen Snapper is written in C# and it's small enough to be quite stable. Improvements can always be made, of course.

Also, to the person who said he could make a better icon, I'd love to see it (preferably made in Adobe Illustrator rather than Photoshop?, or a free equivalent such as Inkscape). My graphics skills are not that great. :P
