I live in Honolulu, Hawaii (Island of Oahu) This place is like Japanese tourist central! All they do is stand and snap the picture... you might be thinking of Chinese pepz? :wall:

Again, this is all just a random theory that wont see the day it get proven. You can get better result asking some American photographers anyway

Not trying to be a smart-[wagon], but they only think it will give them better photos.

 

 

 

It doesnt give them any more stability (maybe they are trying to move their point-of-balance..) , it doesnt stabalize the camera itself.. and the point of view will be slightly lower, for whatever the reason may be :|

Asian people are always carrying cameras!!!! Its almost a fact.

 

But I have never really seen any take pictures like that.
