I thought the quest was way too easy for what the rewards were. So I was just wondering what level combat is the lowest to complete it? I'm lvl 100, go from there.

Chiming in as another level 100. I was insulted because apparently I shouldn't be able to do the new quest.

I guess it would be possible to complete at level 85. I havn't seen anyone that low-leveled with a quest cape yet though.

The lowest is 85 combat. Dream Mentor is a requierment and you need 85 combat to complete that quest.

However when quest/quests come out equalling the qp given for the completion of dream mentor, you can get the 270qp req without dream mentor. This would lead to a drop in the lowest combat needed.

Yep, remember, the guy from dream mentor dies in this new quest. Obviously he wouldn't be prepared to die for you if he was still cowering in that cave.

the quest isnt even hard ;\ you have 255 combat stats for the final part so its a walk in the park

The fights are MUCH easier than DT. I think a lvl 40-50 could do it. However, with dream mentor requiring 85 combat, this isnt possible.

I don't really care about combat reqs (I don't ever expect to find a quest fight hard again now that I'm maxed), but I'm kind of disappointed with the skill reqs. I was really hoping for something like a 90 skill req. Again, the only thing holding me back from this quest was the fact that I had been putting off a couple new quests for a while. I haven't trained to do a quest for years.

Yeah the boss in dream mentor is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY harder than the boss for WGS.

I personally think that the current boss of While Guthix Sleep is bugged, and it'll get fixed soon. Then it'll be actually hard, so I think some of us are lucky to have already done it.

Then again, probably not. I had more trouble with the Haunted Mine boss than with the Smoking Kills one, even though - as far as I can see - the latter is supposed to be much tougher.

Remember for do this quest you must kill ALL of the other quest bosses so i guess 80-138 can do this quest.

 

But yeah the bosses of this quest are kinda weak...

I'm not sure you understand. The boss for While Guthix Sleeps can get stuck behind ruins AND can get stuck on one attack and one prayer.

aye, the real "boss" was the puzzle. i would have never figured it out on my own! the ballance elemental was a walk in the park, i ate once. once. against a lvl 450 monster. It was fun hitting 200 on those demons tho :twisted:

I have yet to do the quest (danged 59 Herblore makes my Quest Cape unwearable ) so I can't contribute to the "those bosses were uber-easy lol" discussion. On-Topic, however, the lowest I've seen was a level 98.

I had no idea why I wasn't hitting the second bosses, so I had to kill them with their shields on....then I find out about darklight, haha.

 

 

 

Anyways, I haven't seen any low level player with the cape yet, but yes, 85 would probably be the lowest.

Yea I saw a lvl 92 running around GE with quest cape, but I didn't catch his name. We all know how a lvl 85 COULD have completed the quest, the original question was what is the lowest lvl you've seen with a cape...
