Otherwise you'd become a God just by touching the stone, too, wouldn't you? Yeah you get your stats insanely boosted and gain a crapload of exp, but you don't become a God. You did touch the stone. The second time you definitely touched it and had the aura thing pass on to you before the other guys arrived. The first time it looks as if you touched the stone from cam angle I had, but I'd agree you were interupted. Plus its definitely you touched it as in the dialogue at the end with idria she says touching the stone unlocked/reveal some great potential in you that she may be able still access. So dialogue confirms you touched it. The artist who made it works for Jagex, and did not create the elite black knight in 2 minutes. Quality assurance have also taken a glance at this model. December 3, 200817 yr Clearly the sword at least more closely resembles the sara sword than any other sword in the game. While you might not be dead on, you may be on to something. perhaps the elites have a previous version?

December 4, 200817 yr Those of you who have done the grandmaster quest will have undoubtedly noticed that the Elite Dark Knights are wielding Saradomin swords. Now, why would Zamorakian forces be equipped with such weaponry? We know that both Saradomin and Zamorak gained godhood through the Stone of Jas. We also know that Saradomin based his symbol off the Dragonkin symbol. Could Saradomin, Zamorak and the Dragonkin somehow be linked closer together than we think? Well they aren't saradomin swords, they are swords of the Icyene, saradomin recruited commander zilyana and renamed it the saradomin sword, I think that this picture suggests that the mahjarret(spelling) have connections to the Icyene, and maybe the weaponry of the god wars is from another realm,like dragon weapons. December 5, 200817 yr Well I really have never been to hip with RS storylines/history, but if what you say is true that saradomin based his symbol off of dragonkin symbols then wouldn't this answer your own question? Also as others have said, the saradomin symbol is like a plus sign + where the tapering is equal on all 4 sides. On the right and left sides of the elite sword, there is a part the juts off horizontally, making it look more like a traditional V shaped type of hilt, and less like a symbol that was designed for decoration. However the color is the same, the way they hold it is the same, and there are those crazy little "gaps" near the bottom of the sword (even though somebody said there wasn't...? Looks like they are there to me...) Don't worry, the post wasn't useless though. :thumbsup: Its an interesting thought. Note that the elites are smart enough to use prayers, which would make me think it wouldn't be a ridiculous thing if they used special attacks, assuming they are holding a weapon that has one. I think if jagex really wanted these to be saradomin swords they would have added a special. I think their reason for this design though is to give us something to consider about the history of RS symbols, just like in our world how a swasticka is an ancient symbol but has only recently been widely assumed to have affiliation with nazis. Oh and also from the godsword piece on wiki: The Godsword is believed to have been forged by the near-extinct Icyene race. Although, it seems the blade was stolen before it could be passed to Saradomin, whom the Icyene follow. Maybe the the Elite Guard are using stolen swords too. Trust the Gene Genie!

Simply touching it doesn't make you a god. Lucien also has the Staff of Armadyl, as we know, can give someone godly powers. With the two artifacts, Lucien has enough power to become a god, it's only a matter of time... December 8, 200817 yr Evething about the elite black knight sword (ES) is a little off when compared to the saradomion sword (SS). The hilt, the smooth blade, and blade colour (can't tell). The SS is an Icyene blade (made by them). Supposedly the Vampire lord draken enslaved the now extinct Icyene and corrupted them forming the now dreaded Vyrewatch. I wonder if the vyrewatch rember somthing of their former existance and skill, and possibly created new swords for draken to give/sell to the elite black knights. The SS is an Icyene blade, so I think the ES, a corrupt SS, was made by corrupt Icyene, which would make the ES a Vyrewatch blade. Wonder what the spec on that baby is =P~ (probably some sort of life steal).
December 8, 200817 yr Zamorak forces work together well. Vampyres, demons, Black knights etc.. Vampire Lord Drakan have enslaved some Icyenes (Creator of Saradomin sword)... So maybe, maybe....Drakan gave the swords of Icyene to Black Knights?

So to me that don't prove much.
