Im not sure when they do it but a while ago they erased a lot of peoples black marks, and also lifted some perm bans and mutes.

There was a thread on the RSOF opened by Jmods where people could sumbit account names to be reviewed. I believe this thread is closed but due to re-open, if you fancy your chances give it a try. :

Quick chat worlds. I have barely any black marks on my pure, but he stays there most of the time. It gets tiring when you argue with noobs too, so that's another bird down :D

Just don't be an idiot, it's not that hard. You probably know the rules now, so obey them. Simple as that.

Then play on a Quickchat world. 0.1% chance of getting reported there, since you CAN'T say anything offensive.

It would help to have a list of your offences to see what you need to work on.

 

 

 

Simple advice: be nice! It even rhymes, so you must do it. Don't let people annoy you, if you stoop to their level, you'll be reported and accomplish nothing.

 

 

 

Especially don't try and scam people. You probably won't gain anything out of it due to the trading system, not to mention you'd be reported.

 

 

 

Don't use ANY kind of add on for Runescape. Just to be safe, don't even use things that are supposedly "clean", unless you have very good proof.

 

 

 

Macroing is plain evil, don't even think about it!

 

 

 

When something strange happens, and seems like a bug, leave it alone. Report the bug, but if you use it, you will be reported. Don't even risk using silly graphical glitches. I know, it may be funny to turn into a giant turkey, but you never know, you could get banned for it. I'm almost 99% sure you can't get banned for graphical and harmless glitches, but hey, my friend got muted for saying "How are you?" to someone.

 

 

 

Don't ask anything personal. Don't even ask how old someone is, because Jagex is very touchy about it. Giving away your age isn't really against the rules, but don't demand anyone else's in return. Especially DO NOT ask for their address, or any vague question about where they live. I don't even know if asking for their timezone is reportable.

 

 

 

Above all, think before doing. If you keep calm, you probably won't break any rules. Just read the rulebook, and keep a level head.

The morons i am talking about are the people that report for anything just so they can be a mod. I wish i could murder every last one of them, they have me scared to talk in this game. I only speak to a seclect few people in game and i have public chat off. I use vent and msn.

If your appealing which I take it you are tell the truth because they do read last chance appeals now. But ya if you can't control yourself sit in quick chat worlds or just use quickchat in regular worlds with everything on friends.

few things i learned after playing for 4 years and then going from never having a black mark to being 1 day muted for something that happened at least 6 months before and 6 days later being perm muted:

 

 

 

never talk about anything besides rs (i told some1 to use cheat codes on gta4)

 

be extremely cautious when talking in cc's (was in my clans cc when a random person who wanted to join comes in when i tell the person to use cheats on gta4 (he joined the clan later that day :evil:))

 

talk to no1 under lvl 120 cb (lol as much as u want but up until then most noobs think theres a chance to become a p mod and will take any oppurtunity givin to them and most players after 120 have givin up hope if they ever had any :lol: but seriously :)

 

join a clan (or if ur in 1 already try to persuade the leaders to use 1) that uses an outside source to communicate (swiftkit/switch, teamspeak, ventrillo and the likes (saves lotta trouble the cc can create))

to bad addictions are hard to shake ive been muted since september and every since been waiting for new years because its rumored they do a new years resolution and take away blackmarks/mutes/bans so hang in there stay quiet talk to ppl u trust with ur life and if/when ur blackmarks are takin away kick jagex in the balls :D

I've played for 2 - 3 years on this player, and have never been muted or banned.

 

I talk about what I want, often things outside of RS, I use 3 different clan chats (all open) and OFTEN talk to people under level 120.
