July 28, 200520 yr Just finished reading it today. The page dumbledore dies wasn't 606. It was 566 for me :lol: Anyone got the main points of the book? ~ Dubledore dies ~ Horcuxes introduced ~ Slughorn + New Minister (dont remember) introduced ~ Harry+Ginny ; Ron+Hermione ; Lupin+Tonks and ; Bill+Fleur ~ Snape revealed What else? Oh yeah, can someone remind me what the 7 horcruxes were supposed to be? Anyway, the book rocked! It was better than any and when it was done, I was like, WHEN'S THE NEXT ONE COMING OUT?!? The 6th horcrux is also unknown (probably something of ravenclaw or gryffindor, or maybe its harry :P ) The locket.. my theory is that it belongs to Regulus Alphred Black (R.A.B), which was in the fifth book. Does anyone remember a locket in the fifth book that they couldn't open? I'm pretty sure something like that was there.
July 28, 200520 yr Someone presented the theory to me that Dumbledore may have had a Horcrux of his own, but I doubt this is true as i would have required Dumbledore killing someone and cutting up his soul. I agree with the Regulas Black theory and I think that Harry will find all the horcruxes except the locket, which will eventually be found in the headquaters of the order of the pheonix (forgotten the actual name: most noble and ancient house of black or something like that) I am loving this post ;) Lets try keep it going till the next book comes out rofl.

July 28, 200520 yr Well as they say, ince Voldemort applied for the job, it has been cursed. I think its almost pointless to speculate the content of the next book, undoubtedly there will be some power ful love realted magic that Harry will use, im almost sure he wont be using Avada Kedavra to kill Voldement, its almost hypocritical. I think that maybe Snape just wants the world rid of Voldemort, perhaps for a good reason, perhaps this is why Dumbledore trusted him, and Snape is willing to do anything to rid him of Voldemort, such as kill Dumbledore. I'm not sure what Dumbledores plea was about, to be honest i didnt think of it to much when it happened. The dilemna at the end was that Snape literally couldnt betray his Unbeakable Vow he made to impress Lestrange, if he had he would die, if he didnt Dumbledore would, i guess we'll see whether this was the correct decsision (of course it will be). Snape, in my opinion is doing the work of Dumbledore, i beleive he would of shot at least one jinx at Harry pursuing him away from Hogwarts, but he didnt, he (scarily) blocked everyone of Harry's spells with ease. In any case, Harry has some shaping up to do before he kills Voldemort, and I think theres a possibilty that Harry will have to sacrifice Ginny to rid the world of him, I quote to you, form The Chamber Of Secrets, my reason for beleiving Ginny is a Horcrux. 'Powerful enough to start feeding Miss Weasley a few of my secrets, to start pouring a little of my soul back into her...' Page 228 of the British Version of Chamber Of Secrets.
July 28, 200520 yr Author I doubt he'll have to sacrifice Ginny. It was made fairly clear that the horcrux that was the diary was destroyed, and therefore so was the peice of Voldemort's soul that was in it..

Quirrell was only there for 1 year, Harry's first. How would you know he was there for 2? Quirrell was the first DADA teacher ever mentioned in the HP series. If you read book #1, you would see that Quirrell was mentioned as the "new" DADA teacher.

But reading that site once again made me think otherwise. There are just so many ways and reasons that DD could have somehow not died. It's an interesting read for anyone who read the book already, that link.

July 29, 200520 yr All we can confirm is she has finished the last chapter of the 7th book. My guess at the next title would be "Harry Potter and the Search of the Horcuxes" or something similar.
