I like these kind of threads, they make me notice the beauty of some of RuneScape's areas :). Maybe I'll post some of my own images here, but Morytania is my main favourite and you already have some good ones there ::'.

P.S. It's spelled Tirannwn, and Sorceress's Garden :P

Due to my epic stats, I have now started WGS (but I still hate spoilers).

Great topic, Frigid!

Talking about Morytania pictures, here is the nature spirit's grotto:

I like this place...

And POH gardens are wonderful. I don't have the construction level, though.

I just went on a bit of a Runescape Roadtrip (minus the car)

Went to a bunch of different places and took the screenshot in HD Fullscreen - now in 1152x786 and 1680x1050 resolutions.

Some of the places captured are those I mentioned before, or just random locations I felt like visiting :P All of these are P2P locations, at a later date I will look at taking some big F2P ones as well :D

I just resized all of my images to 1152x786 for you :) - They got uploaded with exactly the same name, so they have automatically replaced the ones in this thread. I figured the 1680x1050 sized images would slow this thread down a lot more for some users, while everything in the image is still perfectly visible at your recommended size :)

The large 1680 X 1050 images are still available, only now they are located Here.

Batch image resizing FTW :)

NIce topic

I've seen some very nice ones, though some others (like the recent morytania ones) that I didnt find that special TBH.

I remember seeing this absolutely breathtaking image of the mithril dragon dungeon by someone, when HD just came out. Has got to be the best one I've seen on HD ever, seriously. If only he would read this (was on tip it).

Wow, Futs. That's.. a lot of pictures. I took a few more too, but I still have to crop and upload them. I'll get to it in a bit. ::'

I love this topic so far :P.

After seeing Fut's post <3: earlier, I was inspired to go out for more pictures. I took out my runes, then went for some F2P travels ::'. Here are the pictures from my travels:

Note: These images are big... as all ways

Misthalin Mayhem

[hide=Watermill on the River Lum]The long way to Varrock started here. When peering across the Lum, I saw an amazing watermill. These have always interested me as they just add a great nature powered mechanism to a simple river.

windmillontheriverlum04es3.jpg[/hide]

[hide=Ice Patch]Well only being temporary, this ice patch is probably the funnest feature in the entire RuneScape world! Froobs and orginary noobs have a nice little playground in their own backyard. Even though it's mostly for fun, it really adds a je ne sais quoi to the world.

icepatch040109pl1.jpg[/hide]

[hide=Lumbridge Haybarn]This is one of those locations that you could really care less about when walking around. However, when your in high definition, it makes you stop and take a look. It's just great to look at!

lumbridgehaybarn040109sg8.jpg[/hide]

[hide=Varrockian Street]By the time I go to Varrock, it was night fall. I took a nice room at the front of the Blue Moon's Inn and slept for about 12 hours. When I woke up, I went outside to see the view. Sure enough, it was magnificent. The view really takes you back to the Mediveal Ages, when streets and buildings where all stone and pretty much narrow.

varrockianstreet040109uu9.jpg[/hide]

The Asgarnia Parade

[hide=Goblin Village]Before heading to Falador, I made a quick stop at the goblin capital. This village looks alot better than in low detail. You really got to love the architectural style of these small guys. The wooden quality resembles that of North American pioneers. Does Woody Allen live here?

goblinvillage040109eh3.jpg[/hide]

[hide=Falador Park]For a shortcut, I made my way through the park. I couldn't resist capturing the beauty. With the pond and all the hard work of the farmers, this park is absolutely stunning!

faladorpark0401097za9.jpg[/hide]

[hide=Falador Residental Area]Before going off to the party room, I decided to look at the houses. It was really amazing to see a nice square with a fountain in the middle. I only wish my street looked like that.

faladorresidentialarea0tb6.jpg[/hide]

[hide=Party Room Building]After going to the top floor, I saw the true size of the building. Very very remarkable to see such a great palace of our very own Disco Pete. Something that was out of the ordinary was that there was a hole in the roof. Pete's lucky RuneScape doesn't have rain.

partyroombuilding040109nn7.jpg[/hide]

[hide=Party In-Progress]While coming downstairs, I found that the ballons were falling. Simple screenshot and you got a nice picture of the ballons before they even hit the ground. Party over here, woot, woot!

fallingballons040109ou4.jpg[/hide]

[hide=Maggie's Realm]This plane was made after the 2008 Halloween Event for those who lost their items. I found it accidently will making my way south. Once inside, you find everything purple. Who's idea was it? Mod Poppy's probably? Even though it is purple, the colour does not take away from the natural beauty.

maggiesplane040109dx2.jpg[/hide]

[hide=Mudskipper Point]If someone was looking for some secrecy, this is the place to go. Allthough player-less, this area meets the demands of the people. If this was a real life location, then you could lay down and look at the sky. The water and everything looks awsome. I bet you would have trouble finding this place without a map...

mudskipperpoint040109on4.jpg[/hide]

Karamjan Vacation

[hide=Karamja Ship]After taking a stroll through Asgarnia, I wanted to take a break. I hoped abord a boat and set sail to the beautiful island of Karamja. Looking away from this ship is amazing with the water moving. The simulation has the ability to make you sea sick, but love the look at the same time. Steady as she goes, Mr. Sulu.

karamjaship040109yv2.jpg[/hide]

[hide=Musa Points]With the nice breeze of the tropics, this island is nice to hang out on. With the bananas and the bars, you can't go wrong. The amazing view from all around this small small town will have you wanting to swim. Now if only I could figure out with spot to go to...

musapoint040109tk5.jpg[/hide]

[hide=Karamja Volcano Dungeon]When I got to the top of the volcano, I was surprised to see that the lava wasn't moving. Due to this ugly sence, I journied into the dungeon. There were some Lesser Demons, Red Spiders and some Skelotens. After some more viewing, I came across the only F2P dragon, Evarg. This dragon has keep this dugeon very dugeony. Also... I thought I killed that thing...

evargslayer040109zt6.jpg[/hide]

[hide=Crandor Ruins]Upon my trip to Karamja, I decided to take a trip to Crandor, since I never had been there in high detail. When I got out of the dugeon and took a look at the landscape, I was very impressed. Ruined buildings and columns stood on the ground. It was just remarkable. This ancient island is a prime example why people shouldn't keep dragons as pets.

crandorsruins040109vb6.jpg[/hide]

[hide=Shipwreaked on Crandor]I find it strange how Ned is still here after I did this quest almost 3 years ago. How does he survive? I dunno... shipwreaked hermits usually find something to feed themselves. Looking of the side of the ship, it's a beautiful view of the island. If not the island, then perhaps the ocean that also surrounds you.

shipwreckedoncrandor040gs4.jpg[/hide]

When ending my journey, I went back to Lumbridge and had a nice long nap.

sleepyme040109hv5.jpg

With all these wonderful pictures and such, this thread would make a wonderful gallery of the RuneScapian World!

Those are some great pictures, but, if possible, you should save them as .png because jpg kind of messes with the quality.

Got some of the palace in Al Kharid (kinda big, might take a while to load :? ):

Guys I could not be more proud, thanks for going out and taking those pictures. I'll add them soon.

I'm thinking of creating a new thread, and giving each area a title like Monkey

ex) Adventures in Asgarnia, and I will personally organize each picture taken into their according areas. Any thoughts on this? I'm also unaware of how many pictures 1 post can hold. It would help reduce the lagg and etc.

(Off to watch Stephen Hawkings Theory of Everything!)

It would reduce lag and load times with all the pictures if you did a different post per area. As for the amount of pictures one post can hold, I'm not sure on that, or if there is a limit, I have seen a lot of Blogs where people have A TON of pictures on the original post. You could always just make separate titles for each section, like a banner type thing, however I like your idea :P.

The Enchanted Valley is a plane only reachable by fiary rings. You might not have heard of it if you don't have access to the rings or haven't discovered the code yet.

(If you go there, don't cut down the trees.. trust me)
