Da Pirates
Yeah, i'm looking for a PC game that can run on a horrible compluter. I am looking for disc based games where only the disc itself costs money. (No monthly fees) SYSTEM SPECS: [hide=][/hide] I'm pretty sure i've posted enough here for you guys to know my game tastes, but if you don't here is a short list. -Call Of Duty 4/5 -Grand Theft Auto -Gear Of War 1/2 -Guitar Hero/Rock Band -Madden 06-09 Thanks, Mlbfan13 BR BR BR? Nadril
Half Life. The best PC game and, in my opinion, the best video game ever made. I've played through it countless times, and the entire thing just absorbs you and puts you right into gordon freeman's shoes. You don't know anything Gordon doesn't know, and it's a damn fun shooter as well. Plus, with it you get access to games such as Counter strike 1.6 (Still widely played) and the hundreds of quality modifications made over the years for it. They Hunger, counter strike, Firearms, TFC, Day of Defeat. Your machine could probably handle Half life 2 as well on low details.

You could easily run the old Valve games, which are really fun and still have decent communities behind them. I'm also pretty sure you could run all the GTA games up 'til SA. Da_Latios
Just get more RAM and a new processor. I can see a 3.66GHz HP processor on eBay for $215 buy-it-now price. RAM shouldn't cost you more than $30 per 1gb stick unless you buy from a tech store. Oh sure, why doesn't he "just get new alienware computer". On-topic: My computer is similar to yours but I don't play many FPS on it... I played Counter Strike on this and ran fine. So maybe you could get Source or whatever's the new one. "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is." Da_Latios
His video card is still bad. Those are much cheaper than a processor. Nvidia GeForce 9600GT was $157 AUD last year. I'm going to assume that in America it would be closer to ~$90 by now. Oh sure, why doesn't he "just get new alienware computer". Okay, maybe a new processor would be too much to pay for, but he seems to have alot of money for games? I'd suggest him to get another 1 or 2 gigs of RAM. A GeForce 9600GT is less than $100 on eBay at the moment. His motherboard may also not have support for a PCI-E bus slot. oh [cabbage] would you look at that, it's a new computer then!
Da_Latios
I just Googled "Presario F700" and apparently he has a laptop? if that's the case, modifications other than more RAM are out of the question. eggzs
Your Graphics Card is too weak to run alot of the games on your list,I'm not sure how graphics heavy GH/RB is but it should run the older Madden Games and 09 and GoW2 isn't available for PC. Da Pirates
I'm not changing my computer ever. I will buy a new powerful desktop that can run Crysis on the highest settings in the future, though. BR BR BR? HUEHUEHEUEHUE
Orpheus
There are many older games out there, like Age of Empires II, and Diablo II. I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal. OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER.

Dracion1
Command and Conquer: First Decade I got this recently, and all the games in it are great to play. Red Alert 2 is hilarious :P "In the beginning, the universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move." Lenin64
If your video card supports Direct X 9, and you upgrade your RAM a bit, you can play Sins of a Solar Empire. I think right now you can run Dawn of War, I don't know about video cards, though. Or if you enjoy RTS. Command the Murderous Chalices! ThurinEthir
You have no strategy games on your list, so I'm a bit reluctant to recommend Starcraft and AoE I + II, but they're that awesome. They're all from like pre-2000 so you shouldn't have any problems. Cenin pân nîd, istan pân nîd, dan nin ú-cenich, nin ú-istach.Ithil luin eria vi menel caran...Tîn dan delu. Brad25891
http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest The only website you will ever need to see if you can run a certain game.. sort of :D I recommend Warcraft III and the expansion pack. Awesome RTS's with amazing custom maps. Also, Empire earth ONE and the expansion pack, i heard that EE2 and EE3 were made of fail.
