January 16, 200917 yr Simple. What is better. Combat or Skilling I say combat as it is never routine, it is completely random what will happen in that battle. DK's Drops: 7 Berserker Rings, 2 Warrior Ring, 1 Archers Ring, 7 Dragon Hatchet, 1 Seercull, 3 Elite Clue - All SoloGWD Drops (CS): 1 Bandos Chestplate, 2 Armadyl Hilt, 1 Armadyl ChestplateSlayer:1 D skirt, 2 Whip, 12 G Mauls, 2 Dragon Boots
January 16, 200917 yr Skilling. :D Low-risk, besides randoms, and it's fun to be different :P Balance may be power, but chaos is still pretty damn fun.Canada can't be second rate, polar bears are their main mode of transportation.
January 16, 200917 yr Skilling. I will probably go all combat for a while after all 80+ and some other random skill levels though.
January 17, 200917 yr Author Skilling - 2 Killing - 2 Both - 1 DK's Drops: 7 Berserker Rings, 2 Warrior Ring, 1 Archers Ring, 7 Dragon Hatchet, 1 Seercull, 3 Elite Clue - All SoloGWD Drops (CS): 1 Bandos Chestplate, 2 Armadyl Hilt, 1 Armadyl ChestplateSlayer:1 D skirt, 2 Whip, 12 G Mauls, 2 Dragon Boots
January 17, 200917 yr Well, I really like skilling but I found the idea of it quite pointless. I only skill for the self-satisfaction of completing goals that I set for myself. With combat, your character becomes better at PVP and PVM after each level you get. So my vote goes for killz.
January 17, 200917 yr I say combat as it is never routine, it is completely random what will happen in that battle. But on the flip side, combat is killing over and over. With skilling you get to do new things ;) I vote skilling, if it isn't obvious ;) - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
January 17, 200917 yr Author I say combat as it is never routine, it is completely random what will happen in that battle. But on the flip side, combat is killing over and over. With skilling you get to do new things ;) I vote skilling, if it isn't obvious ;) Yes, but with all the major methods to 99 it is exactly the same thing over and over eg: cook 28 sharks then bank -repeat-repeat and that goes on and on and on. combat each battle is different. anyways 3- Skilling 2- Combat 1- Both DK's Drops: 7 Berserker Rings, 2 Warrior Ring, 1 Archers Ring, 7 Dragon Hatchet, 1 Seercull, 3 Elite Clue - All SoloGWD Drops (CS): 1 Bandos Chestplate, 2 Armadyl Hilt, 1 Armadyl ChestplateSlayer:1 D skirt, 2 Whip, 12 G Mauls, 2 Dragon Boots
January 17, 200917 yr Yes, but with all the major methods to 99 it is exactly the same thing over and over eg: cook 28 sharks then bank -repeat-repeat and that goes on and on and on. combat each battle is different. anyways 3- Skilling 2- Combat 1- Both Maybe I'm biased but I still see it as the same concept: Combat Each battle is slightly different in the sense that you take different equipment for different monsters, have a slightly different approach, etc. But the task if killing is still very repetitive, you just do it in different ways. Skilling Each skill is slightly different. For cooking you cook fish and then bank over and over again, for crafting you craft armour/jewelry/etc. over and over again, etc. But each skill is slightly different. So for combat, each "each battle is different" like you said, but for skilling each skill is also different. But in the end, they are both very repetitive in my opinion. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
January 17, 200917 yr Author both of them are very repetitive, but i find combat less repetitive. DK's Drops: 7 Berserker Rings, 2 Warrior Ring, 1 Archers Ring, 7 Dragon Hatchet, 1 Seercull, 3 Elite Clue - All SoloGWD Drops (CS): 1 Bandos Chestplate, 2 Armadyl Hilt, 1 Armadyl ChestplateSlayer:1 D skirt, 2 Whip, 12 G Mauls, 2 Dragon Boots
January 17, 200917 yr I like both. When I get bored of killing, skilling is a nice change of pace and vice versa.
January 17, 200917 yr Author so the score is 3 - Skilling 2 - Killing 2 - Both DK's Drops: 7 Berserker Rings, 2 Warrior Ring, 1 Archers Ring, 7 Dragon Hatchet, 1 Seercull, 3 Elite Clue - All SoloGWD Drops (CS): 1 Bandos Chestplate, 2 Armadyl Hilt, 1 Armadyl ChestplateSlayer:1 D skirt, 2 Whip, 12 G Mauls, 2 Dragon Boots
January 17, 200917 yr Im a skiller but I own in combat aswel (and often fight) :P so I cant choose... Both are a part of me.
January 19, 200917 yr Skillz : I edit for the [Tip.It Times]. I rarely write in [My Blog]. I am an [Ex-Moderator].
January 19, 200917 yr i love both skills and love combat too combat is more interesting but skills are more relaxing i pick both
January 19, 200917 yr so the score is 3 - Skilling 2 - Killing 2 - Both I think you forgot Zierro. I like skills more. I could change my mind if I got levels that would allow hunting for the high level bosses. Right now my combat skills aren't really that different from other skills, there is just four or five of them for the same kind of grinding.
January 20, 200917 yr combat just coz im one of those arrogant, agressive prepubescent losers who gets off by hurting things and people and that was sarcasm but still combat/killz I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come
January 20, 200917 yr I'm torn between the two :(. I'll have to say both as well. ^ Refresh for a new signature ^
February 1, 200917 yr Skilling, i made most of my cash that way. Im aware theres good money in combat but while skilling its easier to talk to people.
