Nadril Posted March 2, 2009 Share Posted March 2, 2009 For some reason the matchmaking system keeps pitting me against guys with 400-500BP, it sort of sucks because I'll win like 5 in a row, lose one and be down all of those points I just gained. :lol: Using Sagat as my main now btw limp, 1300BP and I seem to be hovering around that right now. The gaming club at my student club has gotten a very good deal on a pair of arcade joysticks through the video game store that sponsors it. This means that pretty much every weekday night there's Street Fighter 4 projected on a 108" screen. We generally play for drinks, which acts as a great handicap system. Play through the Trial (Normal) modes. The first 2 for each character goes through each of their basic moves. The symbols aren't exactly hard to understand. a Fist = punch, and a foot = Kick. A letter before the Fist/Foot (Such as H/M/L) refers to the type of attack, such as low punch, medium punch or high punch. The first thing on a move is the movement you need to imput on the joystick/dpad. So if it just has an arrow like ---> than you need to press forward and the action. So ---> + H[Foot] would be forward and High kick. If it gives you a quarter circle forward than that is just Down, Down-forward, Forward in succession. So a basic fireball is usually a QCF+Punch. Finally if it says [charge] infront of a move (like Charge <--- , ----> + [Punch]) then that means to hold that direction for two seconds before going into the next imput. So blanka's roll would have you hold the joystiq back for two seconds then press it forward and hit punch. And the "Z" motions" are just something like Forward, Down, Down-Forward + [imput]. Usually these are for things like uppercuts. If you have live feel free to add me Insanity. I'm trying to learn a new character (possibly) besides Sagat. I'm more interested in a more melee character I think, and I think I might want to try out Abel some more, especially after watching this video: C96PIu6BWYI I can't beat Seth. Every time I get him close to dying, he starts pulling off some insane stuff. Spam the crap out of moves that can knock him down. I can beat seth on the hardest difficulty with Sagat, and generally I just Tiger Kick/Tiger Uppercut him and keep up the pressure.
