In my eyes, that entire list is complete. Player-owned Shops is less of a practical idea, due to the GE, and we don't need to grow stuff in our house - we have our own exclusive patches as it is. I would have liked to have seen chess instead of checkers in the Games room, but I can't complain; still count that as complete.

Randomly Generated Scenarios is still probably way out there, but for the most part, I've gotten along for years without it. :P

Exactly...

one i kno everyone would love to see is removal of those meddling randoms
Macroer: And I would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling randoms!
If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system.

Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased.

The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."

The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?

honestly, if a macroer is stopped by a random... they aren't using very good scripts and will be auto banned by the system in a few days lol.

I find it purely disgusting that they first talked about having official clan support way back in 2001...and it still isn't in the game.

Doesn't sound like it's "disgusting". Perhaps it's just not technically possible. That's the thing with many of these updates - one of the major reasons that we moved to the new RS2 engine was so that POH could be properly supported.

The trick with planning is that things change. Before you go on a rant about how easy it is to program something like that, stop to consider the technical limitations before going off on Jagex.

Why not just add whatever coding they made for the "friends" list, and just make it say "clan list". That alone would add more clan support than there is currently. Clan chat just isnt the same because the only way you can restrict non-clan mates from joining is by having the people on their friends list, which limits the clan chat leader either to a low number of non-clan friends or a low number of clan members.

Need assistance in any of these skills? PM me in game, my private chat is always ON

Or do like the smart clans do and create a dead account simply for housing the clan list...

In any case it is nice to remember that they do keep up with what they plan. Shows real longevity and commitment to the popular ideas.

Yeah, well, that sounds like it would work in principle, but then we run into an issue of database space, and keeping track of who's in what clan, not to mention the potential of multiple clans, etc... Consider a maximum of 100 members in a single clan, plus 200 maximum friends, plus 100 maximum enemies...about 400 names in total.

Now, consider two facts:

1) A player will always have at minimum room for 100 people on a friends list, and

2) No player will ever have a full friends' list (200 people) for any extended period of time.

This means that the current implementation of "Clan Chat" is the best way, considering the hardware limitations. Of course, I'm only speculating, since I don't really know how they have implemented the Friends list, but that'd be a good first guess.

I doubt they'll stick to private party areas in POH since their recent crackdown on RWT'ers and item transfer-ers. The item seller would have a small house with his party room and the other player would simply walk in and grab the stuff. That is, provided that the private party area is anything like Party Pete's. Maybe Jagex will work out a different system.

tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :(
But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities.
That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.
