I just remodeled my room, and i want some nice music to hear on the background. Any suggestions?

 

 

 

I mostly want that relaxing, but active and energetic music if it's possible no lyrics.

Ananta - I sit and listen while my mind is wandering it's a four hours length ambient song, i think it's a nice song to put in background, also lustmord's the place where the black star hang, tangerine dream's phaedra & Burzum's Hliðskjálf.

 

Brian Eno's music for airports could fit int the category as well.

 

All of those mentioned have no lyrics at all.

There once was a Ambient thread. It was about dark ambient, there was this sick, sick wayyyy to good artist posted there but I can't reminder the name.

Autechre, of course. You can't go wrong with tri repetae. The ambient work by Brian Eno is a must as well. I think the Buddha Bar series is something you can appreciate as well.

I think I prefer their earlier work, with Tri as my favorite album. But their later, more abstract, stuff is great too.
