He is a smart man, like I have said, and does what he does just to be different, and make people think. However, I still think he is crazy. I could start acting like a psycho right now, but would I be considered unique? Probably not. Manson IS unique, but hes crazy nonetheless. Anyone who behaves that way imo, regardless of intelligence or not, has something that just isn't right about him.

I personally didn't know he was part of an an actualy band, and it really doesn't matter. July 29, 200520 yr I like their music, its good. I think the guy is realy wierd and I don't like him much. I also like the orgin of their names, its the name of a famous woman with a serialkiller. The name Marilyn Manson comes from Marilyn Monroe and (Charles or so) Manson, a serialkiller.

July 29, 200520 yr I gotta say I don't enjoy his music that much. (The ones I've heard on mtv/radio.) I have to respect him for being able to dress up like that. Reality is hundreds of times more beautiful and more interesting than delusions. Fairy tales just tend to be easier to follow than the wonderful intricacies of life.

July 29, 200520 yr Never really realised that it was a band..But that music had to come from soneone though.. :lol: I think many people dont realise its a band, seeing as whenever spoken of Marilyn Manson, people immediatly think of the guy himself, because he is so different, he stands out. I've never really enjoyed his music, but it's not bad.

You listed NO reasons, and it resulted in you looking like a 5 year old that threatens holding his breath until he gets what he wants. This board is a place for DISCUSSIONS not spam. On topic: I like their music (bmw~ He is not a solo artist, he still works with his band). Most people that listen to their songs don't really understand whatÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s going on, because most people are used to lyrics that make no sense at all and are just a random assortment of words (ex. "you make me want to la la la" wth?). There is a greater meaning behind his words, and even if you are Christian you can still appreciate many things that he says.
July 30, 200520 yr I thought John5 went out to do his own thing for awhile? I don't know. I really don't keep up with Marilyn Manson, or his band. I'm not a HUGE fan of his music. He does have one song that I somewhat like (can't think of the name right now). And he does seem like a very intelligent man. However, if one of his songs were to come onto the radio, I'd probably look for something else.

I own a copy of "Holywood", and it's a great album. I also like their version of "Sweet Dreams". But they totally trashed Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus". -.- // Azvi.
