I've been a fan for 4 years....my fav. songs are New Model, (s)AINT [like in the sig], Minute of Decay and Target Audience. Mechanical Animals is my fav. album.... Oh, and to stay on topic, I don't really like his music, atleast, I didn't like the songs I heard on t.v. He is a smart man, like I have said, and does what he does just to be different, and make people think. However, I still think he is crazy. I could start acting like a psycho right now, but would I be considered unique? Probably not. Manson IS unique, but hes crazy nonetheless. If noone you've spoke to has heard of the band, what's the likelihood any pf us will have legitamate opinions on them? I personally didn't know he was part of an an actualy band, and it really doesn't matter. He's the famous one and the only people you'll find that have anything to say about the other members are probably going to be big fans like you. I also like the orgin of their names, its the name of a famous woman with a serialkiller. The name Marilyn Manson comes from Marilyn Monroe and (Charles or so) Manson, a serialkiller. I have to respect him for being able to dress up like that. Reality is hundreds of times more beautiful and more interesting than delusions. You listed NO reasons, and it resulted in you looking like a 5 year old that threatens holding his breath until he gets what he wants. This board is a place for DISCUSSIONS not spam. On topic: I like their music (bmw~ He is not a solo artist, he still works with his band). Most people that listen to their songs don't really understand whatÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s going on, because most people are used to lyrics that make no sense at all and are just a random assortment of words (ex. "you make me want to la la la" wth?). There is a greater meaning behind his words, and even if you are Christian you can still appreciate many things that he says. I'm not a HUGE fan of his music. He does have one song that I somewhat like (can't think of the name right now). And he does seem like a very intelligent man. I like the old stuff. I own a copy of "Holywood", and it's a great album. I also like their version of "Sweet Dreams". But they totally trashed Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus". -.- // Azvi.
