Also, when carried out like this... Well it is a big county.... If you have a certain type of justice, stick with it and execute (lol) it the most efficient way.

 

 

 

As for the organs: well, I strongly feel that it should be the victim's choice, no matter what. Even he/she's a criminal, they still have a human right to decide on their own body. No sentence nullifies this right.

 

 

 

It COULD solve the problem of donor shortages, but to make money of it (by the STATE, of all) is plain disgusting.

Yep. You can look the shooter in the eye and it is something he will remember for the rest of his life. You go out with a since of honor by firing squad, compared to a slow, painful death that renders you useless, would rather at least stand on my two feet instead of being strapped down in a van injected and tossed out after i died.

agreed, my favorite is when people in america protest lethal injection as being cruel(not opposing death penalty just injection) on the basis that they may feel pain. I mean gunshot is at most like 2 second of pain if its through the head or heart, costs less then one dollar, and allows for organ donation and (possibly) organ donation. Now if we could get nitrogen asphyxiation to work out that would probably be the best method IMO

You're right no sentence can take away human rights, but the action in which they did before court certainly can. Murdering and raping 5 girls? Causing billions of damages through fire for no apparent reason? Yea, they definitely can keep their rights. :roll:

I would rather die by firing squad to be honest. As for their execution of criminals, it is their right to have the death penalty. I don't understand the "death vehicles" though, and the fact that they might be selling the organs is pretty unfair.

Though I believe that selling the organs to help others in needs is a good use of the organs, the individual does have the right to choose if they want their organs donated to people in need. It is a basic right that should be given to everyone, including the criminals.

 

 

 

The death vans themself seem a bit extensive, but with so many people in China, they need some way of inciting fear into would be criminals. Just look at how many criminals there are in the U.S., and we have maybe 1/3 of the people in China.

 

 

 

 

 

Also, if I was to be put to death, I would want to be shot in the head twice, not rendered useless by some drug. I want my death to be quick and as painless as possible, and having a drug render your body useless sounds much worse.

nitrogen asphyxiation is basically slowly lowering the O2 content in the chamber until you fall unconcious and die, from what ive heard it would be very much like falling asleep with nearly zero chance of complications.

and the organ harvesting thing is pretty bad, if they were only gonna give the organs to people who'd need them, I'd be fine with it. but if they're selling them to make profit on the side, that's no good.

Really, slowly going to sleep is the must humane thing possible, excluding freaking out about what is happening. But, that isnt really relevant as you can freak out just as much when you are about to be shot, hung, injected etc.

It's because they don't want to show that they harvests their organ, and defile their corpses once they die.

Well, as long as no one is shown the bodies, it means they're hiding something. Wether or not it's because they harvest the orgzans is unknown to me, but ther is always a possibility.

I don't really see how people can argue that this is a good thing... I fail to see how trying to emotionally abuse the criminal's family by parading through town and killing the person is in any way good.

 

 

 

It just seems like the Chinese government is just trying to cover their [wagon] by not allowing bodies to be viewed after executions and then refusing to report the number of annual executions...
