The gallows north of Draynor Manor have always been empty, and they still are today... most of the time...

 

 

 

You see they become occupied for a brief moment once every 10 seconds or so by some kind of ghost.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

He's invisible most of the time, but every 10 seconds or so he fades quickly into view and then just as quickly back to invisibility. I noticed this as I was hunting for the penguin who's always roaming around Draynor Manor and after I found it I ran back to get my ghost speak ammy and ring of visibility. Nothing new showed up, though....

 

 

 

What do you make of this?

 

 

 

EDIT: So, apparently this has been out for a while and I just haven't noticed it till now...The thread still has some discussion value I guess, namely what this is even for! When I thought it was new I assumed it'd be used for quest 150, but now I guess it could just be some decoration.

I'm certain that he's new. Probably no older than a couple of weeks

Indeed. Jagex should really use things like this for all of the game and create hidden mini quests, it'd be interesting.

I don't remember it ever being there before, but I suppose I could have just missed it earlier. Still I'd like to think I'm more observant than that...

It's been around from before Summer's End (don't know if that is the first or second quest, but it's from before the second quest).

Pretty sure that's been there for awhile, think I remember seeing it. Could easily be wrong though.

No it doesn't. The examine is just some quip about "not what I would choose as a garden decoration". The ghost doesn't have an examine option at all

I remember that being used as the hints for Halloween 08. That's been there quite a long time.
