What's Battlefield Heroes?

 

 

 

Battlefield Heroes is a free to play third-person-shooter MMO that will generate revenue off ads. It's made by the same creators of the Battlefield series, which has received multiple awards. This time, the Battlefield Heroes team says that "The game will focus on fun, hence the cartoon graphics." The graphics of the game are almost the same as Team Fortress 2. The game will feature matchmaking(you will only face players of your skill level.) and 3 maps.

Not really, at all. My brother got in the beta. I meant to, but I was lazy. It's really fun, though. It's like a pick up and play version of Battlefield 2.

The other thread died because the dates got set WAAAAAAY back, when i first heard about it, a nov08 release date was on the site.

 

 

 

This threads better than the rest to be honest, and now the open beta is starting, i think its a good thread.

And, IMO, the graphics don't look anything like Team Fortress 2 unless you think any cartoony game looks like it. TF2 has a lot more style in it. Either way I'm sure I'll try this game out and see what all the fuss is about.

Its going to be 3rd person looking at the trailer, which should be different. With vehicles and planes and the like, should make for some fun games. And yeah web based, no downloads, which means it should get alot of players.

 

 

 

At the moment you just ened to sign up for the beta, i think in the next 2 months it should be ready for release.

I got my key last.. sunday i think. It's like crack for me now, no homework is being done in my room. My account name is "commander" and my heroes name (I only have 1 atm) is "RobinHood" whichever one you have to add to play with me \

How is the game? I applied for a key on the first day you could but still don't have mine :(

I know its a double post, but i just got emailed with a beta key for the closed beta testing, so i'll be able to give some first person details on the game here.

Good news for me, I got my key today. :thumbsup: \

Unfortunately i still can't play, theres a bug that a few people are hacing causing the game to crash when it's first loaded, well, i guess thats what happens in beta.

Not a chance eh? I just recieved mine in my email today. But I have to wait until summer to play any games on the computer, so if someone wants the code, I will gladly pm it to you. Might as well give it to someone who would use it. :)

 

 

 

EDIT: Someone asked for the code, so it is no longer available.

i gt my code through one of the EA games affiliate sites. xD i looked around on the forums and there was a listing with sites that gave away free codes, check the one that was a affiliate put in a fake email and got my code instantly :DDDD

im playing the game right now so dont say its a scam/cheat/lie.

I'm DrLongshot, National Commando level... 6 or 7. I forget.

 

I signed up 2 days ago. I just walked on to gamespot, took a key, and left :P

I got my beta key last week or so. I got level 5 gunner, lvl 3 commando and lvl 6 of the healer one. Pretty fun but i can only really start playing during summer. Theres like no people playing at 3 am.

I got a key not too long ago, yet to play it (I hate my slow speeds :( )
