Guest
Ok well I have been banned for about a year now from my 93 acc so I finally decided after being so bored to start again. So I'm just starting from scratch and I'll see how it goes. I was waiting for mechscape but I'll do this untill its released. Anyone else had to start from scratch?Post stories of how it went i guess.
Zierro
Well, the game gets gradually easier as time goes and you have the knowledge you've acquired from the last time you played. So you can definitely do things at a faster pace. The problem is that everything isn't fresh and exciting anymore so sometimes you'll get bored along the way. Pinkbullet3
And to add to what Zierro said, it might be a little frustrating at the beginning considering how limited your resources are. I know for a fact that it'd be impossible for me to start over considering how much stuff I have on PB3 that I can no longer get back anymore, like the holiday items/emotes. If I start a new account, the emote section would look so... empty. :? Have fun, nonetheless. Try not to let the newbs/n00bs get the best of you. Ignorance in those situations is the best solution. ^ Blog.
FellonyNoob
i had a main back in rsc. quit that, then i remembered the name but forgot password..... then so on so a few months after rs2 was out i made a new one, this one.
Guest
Yea Ever since i got banned i made a promise not to start again...but i kept watching pk vids and got into it again. So I'm playing atm I'm gonna be mostly a skiller/ranger. Knowledge of previous sessions will help, but no resources will suck like you said. snowball
Go members and get summoning as soon as possible. Low level combat summons will be able to level yout Magic and Range skills quickly while you level the Melee skills. That's a pretty good idea. One can work on the nonmember skills kinda like a skiller, then when you go members, get summoning and raise it a couple levels so that your familar is stronger than you are finish summoning quest at level 10 and you can have a familar 16 levels higher than you. Get to level 19 and you have a pretty powerful level 51 familar. Training will then go much faster. Ok... Im not that good. But I have an anchor!!! JoeDaStudd
I had a few accounts a while ago one the original JoeDaStudd I forgot the password since I used MiniCale a lot. Then after about 1 year or so of playing on that account (over 50+ on all stats, 90% of the quests complete and 100+ combat [pre summoning]) my brother thought it would be smart if he reset my password (using the security questions which he knew all the answers for since he knows me well) the log on at his friends house. Which of course ended up with me losing my account and unable to recover the account. Then about 6 months ago I decided to get back in the game and create a new account (Joe Da Studd). And like others have noted its a lot easy to start with, quests are easier and you know all the little tips and tricks you learnt. XSniperX
My main (130+) was banned while I was hacked and the hacker used my last chance appeal after being perm banned and typed in a load of rubbish, so now I can't do anything to get it back and since Jagex doesn't have a customer support person I can email to say to them check the IP addresses and you will see it wasn't me on the account, and check the password change if it is related to when the new IP started using my account and then I would be able to get it back, but with no customer service my only option is to start again  It's tough at the top ;)

SwreeTak
Yes, I have. But that was a very long time ago. I had an account named Swedishboy11 before which I used to play on. Since I was still a noob I of course lost it to another player by falling for one of those classical scam tricks :wall: . So therefore I created my current account, Swedishboy7. And it went fine and is still doing so (Check my hischores if you don't believe me). Luckily I hadn't made too much progress on Swedishboy11 so it wasn't a that big loss to be honest. Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak

Jard_Y_Dooku
It's definitely easier to start over with previous experience. I'd definitely recommend doing a LOT of quests so you can get the XP rewards. Better yet, go for a quest cape as this will not only give you a goal but will also raise your stats somewhat subconsciously. And try to behave this time around, eh? ;) Off topic, @Zierro: I have one thing to say about your avatar: ".......................... -.-" Never trust anyone. You are always alone, and betrayal is inevitable.Nothing is safe from the jaws of the decompiler.
