Q) Eirikjoh - Will there be new skills by the end of 2010 and are you working on one at the moment?

A) Paul -Yes

I knew it! They are working on Sailing after all

whos says it will be sailing?

I heard it was called failing?

Not another Sailing discussion...

A) Paul - As you complete quests you may well start to realise that, with RuneScape gods, all is not as it first seems. I wont spoil the storylines by explaining the gods here, but I can mention Im working on a quest involving the Mahjarrat, who take gods rather seriously.

 A finale to the Myreque series maybe, or at least a sequel to it? Can't wait!! ^^

Uhm... what does the Myreque storyline have to do with Mahjarrats? Unless you believe Lord Drakan to be a Mahjarrat. But the Myreque quests are Mod Tytn's baby, this one is being developed by Paul.

EDIT: Where did you get the examine in your siggy?

One letter made me happy.

Z

What could Z mean.... I know what it means

"The return of Z" obviously means the return of Zezima.

Also, OMG ZAILING!

Also, Zarfot.

Okay, not really, but it would be funny if it wasn't Zaros.

Then we would be back at the kicking part...

It could easily mean Zaros, Zamorak or Zemergoul

He's not a Mahjarrat, but he helped them rebel against Zaros and was given the green light to take over Hallowvale in return.

People always say that but for the life of me I can't recall any mahjarrat or myreque or vampyre history/back story ever saying it.

I mean i know he was on zamoraks side hence Vampires werewolves etc as zammy gwd, but where exactly did we get this knowledge of him helping them to rebel or needing permission to take over hallowvale?

Mysterious Ghost: So anyway, Lord Zamorak and his trusted compatriots, namely myself, Hazeel, Drakan, Thammaron and Zemouregal made plans to overthrow our lord using the god-weapon, and by pledging allegiance to Zamorak as our master, were each to be given a large piece of land as our own in return. We decided to move immediately, before anyone got cold feet, or any other parties could interfere in our works, and made haste towards the castle where our Lord lived. If Lucien had not been otherwise occupied, he would have probably accompanied us with his magicks, but it turned out the foolish Dhalak had made his involvement unnecessary with some spells of his own allowing us to get close to the castle with the staff without the Empty Lord being able to sense its presence.

I just needed to say this:

Go to the Achievement Diary page on Runescape.

I'm looking at that page..there's NOTHING about those 3 at all.

Not only that as my post clearly stated there are FOUR more slots, so there can't be a "last 3" there gotta be at least FOUR

The lands of RuneScape are varied and picturesque. Even the fetid swamps of Mort Myre and the blasted wastes of the Wilderness possess their special charms for those who care to look. Of course, the scenery isn't everything, and each land has its specialties: from the mines of Keldagrim to the plants and animals of Karamja. If you're a wee bit bored and fancy a few small challenges, you might like to check out your Achievement Diary to see what the people of those lands do to prove their proficiency in all things.

That doesn't exactly prove anything.

It just shows they've used contrasting places within rs to describe what the diaries are about. It doesn't in anyway confirm they are going to be diaries. I mean that description has been there since Karamja diary came out so if it was a hint of diaries to come or any order we would surely have thoose 3 by now. Instead of Varrock, Falador, Lumbridge, Seers, and Fremminik

Such a pessimist. It's obviously a hint, but it in no way implies that "we would surely have those three by now."

dgs5.jpg
To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

I wouldn't call it pessimistic.

If you read the entire thread I said they are some of the places still waiting on a diary.

All I disagree with is that the fact they are passingly mentioned in a descriptive passage is a hint that those 3 will be "the last three" for a few reasons:

1) Its a descriptive passage and its a common place technique to use as much contrast as possible to create a more powerful effect. Those places are highly contrasting.

2) That passage has been there since the first diary came out if it really was a hint of the diaries to come we would of had those 3 by now.

3) There are 4 remaining equipment slots, so their can't be a last 3

4) There are 8+ remaining places that could do with diaries, not to mention the ever expanding world. That means there will be no "last" diaries for a while yet.

At least a Diary might make people to to Keldagrim for once.... and only once, and that will be like for a week.

Yay? :?

I like these answers Jagex has given us, they're full of hints and information :D I always wanted to go to Acheron after talking to Vargas, so I'm happy to hear that progress is being made. Too bad Kudos Isle isn't on the horizon, and another Elven Quest is even farther away :( .

Due to my epic stats, I have now started WGS (but I still hate spoilers).
