March 9, 200917 yr Author Those look quite different than Elidinis robes to me. For one, her sleeves are wide and her dress is cut in from below. Not only that, she's wearing a sash. And we're also forgetting the core message of this pic... SHE IS CUTTING WOOD WITH A KATANA. How awesome is that? Smithing with Nunchakus, crafting leather with Acupuncture needles, fletching bows with Wakizachis... It's all possible! March 9, 200917 yr I'll take you on that bet, be prepared to part with them  i think that the will be at least 3 months between now and the release but maybe as much as 18 became quest point master on: 21 dec 2007 2:43 pm
March 9, 200917 yr As I've said on the actually RSOF many times: Her robes clearly look like the Elindis robes, though they obviously aren't a perfect match but the artwork > real game never quit matches Equally from the shoulders, large chunk and two narrow chunks behind her she is wearing a skill cape. Shocking alot of people where trimmed fishing capes with elindis robes as they match very well. As for what she's weilding since the top is hidden behind the foreground guy there is no reason to suspect is a katana, it's an axe we jsut can't see the head cause of the foreground guy. not an axe handle. Doesnt have the flaired bottom and the only axe that has a metalic shaft is the d axe but again the handle doesnt match that one either. the robes dont match elidinis can either be seen as having another color down the middle or a part in the fabric with another layer underneath. Americans love to fight. All real Americans love the sting of battle. George S. Patton
March 9, 200917 yr Dare I say that the robe bottoms look like ... Vestments? In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
March 9, 200917 yr That definately isn't an axe like the others in the pic she's weilding. This is possible evidence of the eastern lands, I hope. I edit for the [Tip.It Times]. I rarely write in [My Blog]. I am an [Ex-Moderator].
March 9, 200917 yr [hide=unknown robes][/hide] [hide=mystic robes][/hide] Not mystic robe either. *pic taken from Triple Trouble wallpaper* [brought to you by the Cult of the Sacred Crate]17th to 99 Smithing OSRS
March 9, 200917 yr Jagex has a history of dropping hints and easter eggs. I'll take your word for it this is a bona fide hint. Also, isn't there a man from the far east standing on the docks in Port Phasmatys? It's been awhile since I was there, but that seems vaguely familiar. I think he was there when they released the charter ships. Can someone back me up on this?

He is used in Ghost Ahoy and for bolt racks which leads me to believe that THE BARROW BROTHERS are from the Eastern Lands so were going to see Sliske in the Eastern Lands. :D Edit: Maybe more Zaros followers in the Eastern Land and read the most recent postbag.
March 9, 200917 yr Barrows Brothers don't look very Eastern. I'd expect Katanas and shurikens, not crossbows and great axes. EDIT: Also there is a story on them on official site. They are from Middle Gielnor or w/e its called. Hit me up on LastFM to see my music taste and chat :)
March 9, 200917 yr Barrows Brothers don't look very Eastern. I'd expect Katanas and shurikens, not crossbows and great axes. Still there amour and weapons are different than most things in the game. Edit: who said they didn't go to the Eastern Lands.
March 9, 200917 yr I think twiley kinda proved a point he didn't mean too there. Look at that second wallpaper segment, not one person would argue against that being mystic robes Or the foreground guy in this evil tree wallpaper everyone accepts its the updated d plate and d skirt Or the barrows brothers wallpaper. Yet in that wall paper the mystic robes look nothing like in-game ones The foreground guys armour looks nothing like any d armour I've seen The barrows brothers wall paper none of them look especially like their in-game counterparts All in all it just mounts up to her wearing generic robes that an artist has created losely based on things like elidns robes, vestments and mystic robes but tweaked to look good. Equally no her axe handle doesn't have the flared end, but nore doe axes in-game or the axe of the guy in the background and she's holding it exactly like the background guy is holding his. And as for metallic it could eaisly be an artistic representation of the daxe or inferno adeze but if you look closely the end near her hands is clearly brown like wood, in fact the brown stretches up the edges of most of what we can see, without any clear marking to show a handle ending, while the central area is whited out in the same tones as all the other moonlight edges in the image. All in all the difference between artwork and game and the clues the colourings etc give I highly doubt that this is anything more than artistic license creating an outfit that isn't quite like the in-game version and a will for the eastern lands causing a moon struck hatchet with the head hidden to become a sword Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

I guess I'm going to go log in and find out now.
March 9, 200917 yr You said they came from the Eastern Lands. It says nothing in the story about them leaving to the Eastern Lands. Hit me up on LastFM to see my music taste and chat :)

March 9, 200917 yr Ok, you're right PBP. I guess I had the guy on the dock confused. I didn't know he sold bolt racks either. lol.
March 9, 200917 yr You said they came from the Eastern Lands. It says nothing in the story about them leaving to the Eastern Lands. I said I BELIEVE that they are from there.
March 9, 200917 yr Erm, well expect to be disappointed. If they are from there, everyone who reads this can PM me a slap. Hit me up on LastFM to see my music taste and chat :)
March 9, 200917 yr Heh, I would like to finish the Elf lands first... "To do all that one is able to do, is to be a man; to do all that one would like to do, is to be a god." - Napoleon I
March 9, 200917 yr Perhaps we go so far east we get back to the Elf Lands O.o :? Hit me up on LastFM to see my music taste and chat :)
March 9, 200917 yr Perhaps we go so far east we get back to the Elf Lands O.o :? Maybe the some of the Rabbits in the Crystal City look like elves with big ears and can walk on two legs and work crystal who knows. And also Eastern Land Rabbits like there too I better keep dreaming. :P

March 9, 200917 yr Perhaps we go so far east we get back to the Elf Lands O.o :? Hey! Everybody knows the world is flat!
