March 24, 200917 yr Kirk is the original, Picard is a tactical genius. Kirk has passion and human emotion that overule him sometimes, which is both good and bad. Picard has charm and wisdom. It's a tough call. Data is my personal favourite character, I love his naivety and misunderstandings of human nature. My other favourite is Chekov. :)

April 3, 200917 yr I really liked TNG -> First saw it in some re-run. Later, I saw TOS, found it dumb. It was just...too old. Now, I see the charm of that good ol'e TV series. But I liked Picard over Kirk. Kirk is too much of a renegade, loose cannon for me. I like Picard for being the tactician, military mastermind. Of course, my favorite race entered in TNG, the Borg. They ABSOLUTELY rule. Enjoyed the "Q" episodes as well. Later, I saw "Voyager". I hated it at first, skipped it after 3 episodes. Then it got in re-run, got addicted, saw practically every episode, most of them twice. I really don't like the latest star trek version, and I didn't like DS9. DS9 was more a soap series in space IMO. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...

April 13, 200917 yr I have to go with Janeway -> Picard -> Kirk. I mostly watched Voyager because I didn't like the others at first. I then got into TNG and I watched that one a lot. Eventually, I gave Captain Kirk another chance and decided it wasn't bad. I think my favourite character in all of them is Data, though. Although my favourite race is Vulcan. I love the logic.
