hihihi727
I finally got members around 2 weeks ago but i'm so confused. please help me! i have really low stats- Cb 67, Attacl 60, Strength 53, Defence 50, range 40, Mage 38, Prayer 41, and i'm wearing beserker helm, amulet of glory, granite platebody, runeplatelegs/kite, dragon longsword. *At what level should i attempt getting a Fighters Torso? I tried but no one would sign me up beccause im too weak. Also, would it be faster to level up sometimes or just save up my points for Fighters Torso? how long does it take? *What combat stats should i have before attempting Fremmy Isles? (I want Helm of Nezinot!^^) *Are trimmed skill capes or Firecape better? Should i max out hitpoints and range before attempting to get a fire cape? *I'm training to 60 strength and defence on Moss Giants in varrock sewer because i want 43 prayer. Is there another place with Moss giants that are closer to the bank? (For gilded atlar) *Fastest combat exp? I tried experiments and it took me an hour getting 25k exp (59 attack to 60 attack). I spent 20 minutes fighting the level 50 experiment because all the other respawn spots were taken. Do they only give 1 exp or something? *Pest control is really bad exp for me, although its sort of fun. What level should i wait until i retry? Do i always use the highest boat i can use? Should i spend my points in denominations of 100? *My agility is 20, entirly from quests and gnomeball. What level should i get it up to minimum? *I've done quite a few easy-medium quests. What quests are really really really helpful/fun/easy? Thankyou everyone! I had membership a few years ago on anotehr account but i was only level 50 and i spent all of my time trying to get full gold in Castle Wars because i overheard that it was the best armour in the game @@ So i don't really have any idea of what to do. Thanks!!
Earth_Poet
I certainly can't answer all of these, but maybe I can steer you right on a couple of them. *Are trimmed skill capes or Firecape better? Should i max out hitpoints and range before attempting to get a fire cape? Overall, Firecape would be better because of the +2 attack bonuses, the +4 strength bonus, and +2 better defense overall than the trimmed skillcape. The untrimmed skillcapes have the same stats as an obsidian cape. The trimmed has a +4 prayer bonus. The Firecape has a +2 prayer bonus. You don't need to max out range and hp to do the caves, but the higher the stats the better the results. If you have 70+ range and 45+ prayer you can go ahead and attempt it so you can at least get a "feel" for the caves. Most people fail their first few attempts before getting the hang of it, but it is a safe minigame. There are a few guides out there such as this one here. *I'm training to 60 strength and defence on Moss Giants in varrock sewer because i want 43 prayer. Is there another place with Moss giants that are closer to the bank? (For gilded atlar) The closest ones I can think of are just north of Ardougne and west of Fishing Guild. *I've done quite a few easy-medium quests. What quests are really really really helpful/fun/easy? You should consider doing Monkey Madness to have the ability to equip the Dragon scimitar. A quest I thought was really fun was My Arm's Big Adventure. It was very funny. As you continue to grow you should consider Legends, Desert Treasure, and Recipe for Disaster. You should consider going ahead and starting Recipe for Disaster. It's divided into several subquests, and after completing each subquest you get the ability to purchase some very nice gloves. Hope this helps you some. And I hope others can answer your other questions. Good luck and have fun!
xSxqPowerx
My only tip would be to not worry about getting a fighter torso - it actually has much lower defence than granite plate. The strength bonus it has won't be that useful to you.
cookie1762
Don't get overwhelmed (although it is VERY easy too). Ask yourself what you really enjoy doing in the game. I became a member around your level, and I started doing the quests that I could with my levels because this opens up the game so much more to you, that way you can find the skill you like working on and go from there. Hope this helps a bit and have fun! Members is really worth it! : http://sign.tip.it/1/6/24/304/lady_scm.png Drops/Clue Finds:Shield left half: 1,Dragon plateskirt: 1, Warrior's Helm: 1, Obsidian Cape: 1, Robin Hood Hat: 1, Dragon Platelegs: 1, Dragon Boots: 4, Amulet of Ranging:
Lunar_Drifter
*At what level should i attempt getting a Fighters Torso? I tried but no one would sign me up beccause im too weak. Also, would it be faster to level up sometimes or just save up my points for Fighters Torso? how long does it take? Don't worry with it. It's good if you have it, but it's not necessary in the least bit. Strength is overrated anyways, in my opinion. *What combat stats should i have before attempting Fremmy Isles? (I want Helm of Nezinot!^^) Get your prayer up for Protect from Melee, and get strength and defense to 60 at least. You can do it at those levels with some good healing items and a reliable one-click teleport for safety. *Are trimmed skill capes or Firecape better? Should i max out hitpoints and range before attempting to get a fire cape? At this point, don't worry about those either. It'll be a while before you get them, and you'll find out that information while you're leveling up. *I'm training to 60 strength and defence on Moss Giants in varrock sewer because i want 43 prayer. Is there another place with Moss giants that are closer to the bank? (For gilded atlar) There is a moss giant island just west of Brimhaven (the town west of the Lesser Demon Volcano). You can kill them there, swing back across the water, and take the boat ride for 30 coins to Ardougne and bank there. Or have teleports handy for Ardougne. I wrote a guide on it, if it's not in my signature then I'll get you a link. *Fastest combat exp? I tried experiments and it took me an hour getting 25k exp (59 attack to 60 attack). I spent 20 minutes fighting the level 50 experiment because all the other respawn spots were taken. Do they only give 1 exp or something? I'd say 25k per hour is good for you. You could also try Yaks after you do Fremmenik Isles. *Pest control is really bad exp for me, although its sort of fun. What level should i wait until i retry? Do i always use the highest boat i can use? Should i spend my points in denominations of 100? Yes spend them in the highest increment you can to get the most experience. I don't play though so I can't give you advice on that. *My agility is 20, entirly from quests and gnomeball. What level should i get it up to minimum? Get it up to 50s-60s. Look at the shortcuts you can take in the in-game skill guide and see which ones you think would be most useful to you, then level up to there. *I've done quite a few easy-medium quests. What quests are really really really helpful/fun/easy? Tell us what you've done. Tree Gnome Village and the other Gnome quest (I haven't played in a while so forgive me) for easy travel. (Gnome Glider and Grand Tree) Fairy Tale Part I and start Part 2 for the fairy ring teleports. Get started on Recipe for Disaster for the gloves that give you strength bonus. Do the series of quest in Canifis for the ectophial (Ghost's Ahoy?) and Barrows. Do Smoking Kills to start getting Slayer points if you want to do any slaying. Monkey Madness for the Dragon Scimitar. There's more.. I just can't think of any right now. Retired Tip.It Mod || Admin and Founder of Caesar 3 Mod Squad! All are welcome!

yaziyo
Thankyou everyone! Do you think i could get a rune defender as soon as i enter the warriors guild? (sorry for all the questions) btw great guide lunar Rune defender's not difficult, you're just fighting a monster for like an hour or so and you'll get it. Some games do not mix... Ezkaton
*At what level should i attempt getting a Fighters Torso? I tried but no one would sign me up beccause im too weak. Also, would it be faster to level up sometimes or just save up my points for Fighters Torso? how long does it take? I'm not sure a fighters torso is worth it. If they are people can correct me, however many people tend to go for barrows armour which you can't wear..... your best bet i believe is to stick with granite body and do slayer or so until you get to 70 defence then switch to torags or something. *What combat stats should i have before attempting Fremmy Isles? (I want Helm of Nezinot!^^) Other people will have to tell you this, because i have no idea to be honest. *Are trimmed skill capes or Firecape better? Should i max out hitpoints and range before attempting to get a fire cape? Firecapes are better than skill capes, and also look better because it's animated :P And i don't think that HP and range level have a massive effect on it...... get ranged to about 70 and use pots with good bolts like emerald (e) or ruby (e). But you need to realise that it'll be insane for you to get 99 HP and Range..... if you look at peoples signatures it's clear that you pretty much max out melee stats and others before you get HP. However don't worry about it yet..... the best cape you can wear is an obsidian cape - and it has the same starts as the untrimmed skill capes. *I'm training to 60 strength and defence on Moss Giants in varrock sewer because i want 43 prayer. Is there another place with Moss giants that are closer to the bank? (For gilded atlar) Not too sure. you could fight the ones by the gnome area perhaps? but other people will have to correct me if i'm wrong. *Fastest combat exp? I tried experiments and it took me an hour getting 25k exp (59 attack to 60 attack). I spent 20 minutes fighting the level 50 experiment because all the other respawn spots were taken. Do they only give 1 exp or something? If you were fighting the ones near frankenstrains area you get about 404exp per lv25 experiment killed! They're good exp, and so 25K in 1hr is good. I used them to get me 70 defence :D But if you want quick combat exp then do slayer, or go and fight the experiments near frankenstrains or even go rock crabs...... however i'd advise slayer  *Pest control is really bad exp for me, although its sort of fun. What level should i wait until i retry? Do i always use the highest boat i can use? Should i spend my points in denominations of 100? I can't answer this one.... sorry. *My agility is 20, entirly from quests and gnomeball. What level should i get it up to minimum? hmmm i think level 50 is perhaps adequate for you.... or for anyone. However it depends if you like it...... I detest the skill as i find it boring, so i'm only using exp lamps and penguin points on mine, and i need it to 51 so i can use summer pie to do regicide, and then get the crystal bow from roving elves  *I've done quite a few easy-medium quests. What quests are really really really helpful/fun/easy? Helpful ones would be the gnome ones for spirit tree teleports, plague city for ardy teleport, merlins crystal for cammy tele, and the fairy quests for the use of fairy rings. And then the fun ones would be RFD 100% and i'm not sure about any others....... and easy quests..... just select the option on your quest list to see them in order of difficulty. Thankyou everyone! Do you think i could get a rune defender as soon as i enter the warriors guild? (sorry for all the questions) btw great guide lunar Don't worry about all the questions : We're here to give tips (bad pun i know). And there isn't anything stopping you getting a rune defender when you can enter warriors, and i'd reconmend it...... however i've been lazy and stuck with the obby shield, but when strength is 70 i'll be getting me a whip and rune defender, so i'll probably see you around in warriors :P Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.2672nd person to reach 2496 total. Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D

I tried but no one would sign me up beccause im too weak. Also, would it be faster to level up sometimes or just save up my points for Fighters Torso? how long does it take? Don't bother. Waste of time, and +4 at your level won't help much. *What combat stats should i have before attempting Fremmy Isles? (I want Helm of Nezinot!^^) Prayer 43 at least. Getting all 60 stats would be helpful. *Are trimmed skill capes or Firecape better? Should i max out hitpoints and range before attempting to get a fire cape? Yes and no. *I'm training to 60 strength and defence on Moss Giants in varrock sewer because i want 43 prayer. Is there another place with Moss giants that are closer to the bank? (For gilded atlar) This might be good for you. viewtopic.php?t=690095 *Fastest combat exp? I tried experiments and it took me an hour getting 25k exp (59 attack to 60 attack). I spent 20 minutes fighting the level 50 experiment because all the other respawn spots were taken. Do they only give 1 exp or something? 100k an hour at Armoured Zombies, but you can't get there, need to finish Defender of Varrock. *Pest control is really bad exp for me, although its sort of fun. What level should i wait until i retry? Do i always use the highest boat i can use? Should i spend my points in denominations of 100? It's only really good 115 combat plus. Use in increments of 10 or 100, they give the same bonus xp. (10%) *My agility is 20, entirly from quests and gnomeball. What level should i get it up to minimum? You eventually will need to get 70 (for Saradomin Godwars perhaps) and just get as high as you can. It's very helpful. *I've done quite a few easy-medium quests. What quests are really really really helpful/fun/easy? My advice to you is DO EVERY QUEST, quests unlocks areas and new items you might like. I tried but no one would sign me up beccause im too weak. Also, would it be faster to level up sometimes or just save up my points for Fighters Torso? how long does it take? -You don't really need it, I'm level 94 and I'm still using Granite body lol *What combat stats should i have before attempting Fremmy Isles? (I want Helm of Nezinot!^^) -You can do it. Use ranged protect. If you use melee it will throw a lot of rocks at you... and they're dangerous! Get a one click teleport and good food (I did it at level 73 with lobsters though... had none left after the fight, so I recommend monkfish or better) *Are trimmed skill capes or Firecape better? Should i max out hitpoints and range before attempting to get a fire cape? -No idea *I'm training to 60 strength and defence on Moss Giants in varrock sewer because i want 43 prayer. Is there another place with Moss giants that are closer to the bank? (For gilded atlar) -Kill Flesh Crawlers for quick xp and money and use the money to get bones for 43 prayer *Fastest combat exp? I tried experiments and it took me an hour getting 25k exp (59 attack to 60 attack). I spent 20 minutes fighting the level 50 experiment because all the other respawn spots were taken. Do they only give 1 exp or something? -Yaks are very good too, and their respawn time is ~0.5 secs *Pest control is really bad exp for me, although its sort of fun. What level should i wait until i retry? Do i always use the highest boat i can use? Should i spend my points in denominations of 100? -It hasn't been that good since the nerfing in '07, but if you want to play, go ahead. I started it at level 56 with poisoned bone dagger in December '06, so you don't really need that good items/stats, unless you want really quick xp. *My agility is 20, entirly from quests and gnomeball. What level should i get it up to minimum? -The higher the better *I've done quite a few easy-medium quests. What quests are really really really helpful/fun/easy? -Here's a few good ones: [*]Gnome quests (Tree Gnome Village, Grand Tree, Monkey Madness) [*]Pirate quests (Rum Deal, Cabin Fever, Great Brain Robbery), from Great Brain Robbery you will get Barrelchest anchor which costs 230k to repair. It gives +100 strength bonus and is as fast (or slow) as a battleaxe. Incredible weapon. Requires 50 prayer though... [*]One Small Favour/Troll Stronghold - both give two 10k xp lamps, very useful for slow or expensive skills such as Summoning, Prayer and Runecrafting Thankyou everyone! I had membership a few years ago on anotehr account but i was only level 50 and i spent all of my time trying to get full gold in Castle Wars because i overheard that it was the best armour in the game @@ So i don't really have any idea of what to do. hihihi727
Thanks everyone! I'll do monkey madness as soon as im level 80. You guys are far nicer than most people on runescape^^ LAST QUESTIONS!! i just got 43 prayer, but for Freminnik Isles I still need: 41 Agility (20. most effective way to 41?) 46 Crafting (I have 31, how should i train it? Buying hard leather and making hardleather tops?) 20 Construction (I only have 9 or 10 but its already cost me lots of money (relatively). How should i train it? Its quite hard because its not just clicking on a rock or tree T.T) Rune halberd or Dragon Longsword plus the quest shield thing against boss fight? And protect from range with green d'hide or protect from magic with granite plate/rune legs? SHould i get my own supplies because tuna is bad food? And should i get a dragon dagger to poison him first? THANKYOU! NO MORE QUESTIONS!!! THANKS!! (Btw i only have 1mil ,of which 500k is in the G.E. for merching)

Basically just buy as much flax as you can..... (500K you say? well that's roughly 6250 flax) then go to lummy castle and use the spinning machine to spin it all into bowstring (flax costs about 80gp now, and bowstring is 176 :P ) If you do this method and you get 46 crafting before you finish your flax then you can sell it back to GE as it's always in high demand. - NB i did this method and it took me from about lv20 to 64 within a week \ And i'm not sure on the construction...... as my construction is only lv1  but you could go to Penguins W60 clan chat and find as many penguins as you can for larry the zoo keeper at ardy and use them on construction......
