This was in RSC a week ago when people were trading in a bank and they putted up like 2 blue p hats and you put up 12mil and you would only end up with 1 blue hat. Or so I heard, not sure.

Scams are so ****ed up. I **** hate this crap.

Andrew posted on the RSC board at the runescape forum that the bank trade problem has been corrected. People were able to open a trade window and their bank at the same time. They put what they were trading in the bank but it still looked like it was in the trade window. Andrew wrote that who did that have been banned. I think the number was like 100 banned.

Yea, I got scammed liek this 2 days ago, a guy named was selling me 4k lobs for 600k. because of the ridiculous lag on world 1 i lagged and couldn't decline the trade in time.

Some lvl 70 was buying a drag sword, and I declined at 100k, so then he put up 130k, and after the trade was finalized the money was gone. The guy said something about "taking the money away" and ran off with the sword.

Something interesting about packet sniffers...I always wondered how the games drop system worked. A packet sniffer would be perfect about telling you the exact moster which has that "rare" drop. I remember the ones in diablo 2, you could get a unique item everytime from gambling, just by "sniffing" the inventory and if a unique was there, it would tell you. I got countless SoJ's that way, and none of them were "duped" :P

I remember a scam a while ago which I thought was fixed whereby you can edit the value of the address of the cash so on your side it looks like you've got no cash and then when you add a second item it updates it onto the victims but they can't see it. I wouldn't be too hasty when you trade with someone who offers lots of cash and an item.

So if somebody is trading with you try to keep it only gp or something, and DONT let them add anything else even if you want the extra little to make it a better deal.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

IT only works when they add the second thing...not sure exactly how it works but im sure its clientside.

There was something like this a year(maybe more, maybe less) ago, when the second trade screen was still fairly new, if you took the item off fast enough it wouldn't show up on the second screen but would still trade.....

see...but it was on 2nd window...o well....i wanna keep this up as high as possible to make every1 awaire

the same thing happend to my friend inside the bank with a blue hat on rsc
