March 25, 200917 yr Today Jagex instituted a quick prayers option. Basically it allows for you to turn on any number of prayers (preselected by yourself) with a simple click of the prayer icon. My question is: How will it affect clans? I personally will use to it great effect. I usually bind in wars and this will make it much easier to tank/switch to rune, without worrying about the pray screen. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
March 25, 200917 yr Hope it'll help me to tank better, could save prayer points as well, click the prayer icon again and the prayer(s) are turned off. It'll be fun to test out. It still has a slight delay though, you could take a bit of damage before the prayer(s) are activated.

March 25, 200917 yr Gonna have to try it out. With love to one, friendship to many, and good will to all.

March 25, 200917 yr It will be pretty useful. I sometimes forget to put on Steel Skin so now, that issue won't occur! Proud Retired Council of The GladiatiorzClick here for our website - 110+ F2P Combat Requirements
March 26, 200917 yr This should certainly help to prevent those KOs during wars. However, I did find that there is a small lag upon activation.
March 26, 200917 yr I think the delay is there anyway (it takes a second to go to your pray screen, turn on prayers and even after turning them on I think they only effect the NEXT round of combat anyway). Good update, though it won't make a difference for me. As I no longer bind (as a fall in leader) I keep my prayer screen open, and the last time I forgot to put on protect item/steel skin was in 2007 I think lol. I don't really like how they're making things easier and easier in wars - the run path update made tanking easier, and this makes reactions less important. I'm slightly worried they might bring out an eat-x option now to automatically heal . Proud Leader of the Corruption Clan. PM me to set up a fight or for any queries relating to my clan.

If your a sucking tank , using quick prayers won't help you If your pro ,using quick prayers won't help you. it is just another addiotiion to make you do less work. SO I GUESS it will lower the chance of getting koed
March 30, 200917 yr First run, now prayer. Both helpful to us, though it's getting easier, which can be good or bad depending on your perspective. I tried it at a war Saturday, and it worked pretty well. Halfway through my inventory, I still found myself using the old prayer window when switching between magic and melee protects. Next is HP. March 30, 200917 yr It's effective, but I'm not used to it yet...I still find myself switching to the prayer tab and manually selecting them.
March 31, 200917 yr It kinda laggs, I only added protect item, 10% def and 5%mage :ohnoes: M on my Chest.
March 31, 200917 yr I like having infinite prayer. Proud Warlord of DragonwoodIf it's natural to kill, how come men have to go into training to learn how? ~ Joan Baez Rest in Peace 3xtermination
April 2, 200917 yr Quick prayer is nice, the time it takes is about the same but as people have said it helps to make sure you select the prayers you might forget like steel skin. What I want is a quick spell option, enabling you to cast binding spells quickly. Personally I have just enough lagg to make sure that i usually click the wrong spell in my hurry, and I feel like a quick spell would just make things easier without taking away any of the challenge. April 3, 200917 yr This should certainly help to prevent those KOs during wars. However, I did find that there is a small lag upon activation. +1 on what you said there. Makes me lag a little when i activate :wall: Though I still think the quick prayer options are great  .
April 3, 200917 yr Author Jagex has fixed the lag. It's now just as fast as clicking on a prayer directly. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
April 4, 200917 yr I like this update, it can focus me on the actual tanking rather then first clicking the 3 prayer icons. The only bad thing was the 1-2 second delay, but if that's fixed I'm very happy with this!
