is giant mole hard to solo? and do i need to pray melee when fighting it?

If you are talking about the mole underneath Falador then here is some advice.

 

 

 

First, the single most challenging thing to deal with is his moving around. Soloing is not hard in the sense of difficult combat, but it is more the mole digging around after a few hits when his hp gets low.

 

 

 

Second, he only uses melee attacks and has a max in the 20's.

 

 

 

Third, It really is best to go with at least a second person to cover more area faster. The worst enemy is other people showing up with friends and being able to take your kill pretty easily. I personally get too frustrated trying to solo due to other people showing up in the middle of killing it.

Its very easy to solo, if a pure can do it, anyone can.

My suggestions:-

 

 

 

AS you have 68 summoning, use a terrorbird. It is a must, and make sure you bring tireless run scrolls (approx.50 will be fine)

 

In terms of a weapon, you either a gs, a ss or the flail thing (cant remember). Whip hits extremely rarely, even with super pot.

 

A MUST is super attack and super strength. Defence would be a good idea if you dont want to bank as often)

 

Wear a warrior helm for extra attack bonus.

 

 

 

At your lvl, you should be fine to solo.

The mole is the easiest boss IMO, its just much more frustrating then any of the others.

 

With your stats it shouldn't be too much of an issue at all.

With your levels, soloing the mole should be a breeze, Just make certain to use a Terrorbird for the run.

 

Plus if the bird attacks it and the mole digs, the bird will run after it, making the whole experience a LOT less painful.

Chiming in that he is super easy. I can easily beat him by myself, he's pretty much the easiest boss

When I use a whip (no pots), it's not really rare that I hit it.

the best way to kill the mole is a fast weapon then once it starts running around is to use a slow hard hitting weapon. The mole runs after a certian number of hits not an amount of time.

Giant mole is cake. occasionally hits a 20, but thats about it.

No one's mentioned ranging; there are safespots all over and the mole is weak to range. Use emerald bolts to poison and switch to broad/diamond.

Yes, you don't need a familiar or lv 80 or whatever combat. I ranged it at lv. 36 range and 50 combat \
