RIP Michaelangelopolous
Thanks to cowboy14 for the pimp sig!

I usually play with the music turned off, but I keep the sound and environment effects turned on.

Only time I ever play the actual music is when I'm doing a quest -- I like to hear new tracks as they're unlocked

I listen to both. In-game music and sounds is just epic.

I especially like the dungeon songs.

The first thing I did when they introduced sound/music in RS, was turn it off.

To me the music is like poly-ringtones, and I hate poly-ringtones.

It has changed a lot since back then. :P

It all comes down to what im doing really.

When im close to a level, I have both on.

When im normal slaying, i have music off, sounds on so I can watch tv and know when the monster dies.

When skilling, music off sound on, same reason as above.

I might sometimes listen to music instead of watching tv.

If im not watching tv or listening to music, I have both the Runescape music and sound on.

both here. you wouldn't believe how many times the sound effects have saved me. love listening to the music no matter where i am lol

I always have sounds on when pking/clan warring, but other than that I listen to music. (not the rs music).

New summon monster. You get 99 summon and complete a hard quest to gain the ability to summon Jesus, who splits the waters allowing you to walk to a new port town where you unlock the sailing skill. Obviously ;)

That was Moses you idiot.

That gets fixed in the bugfix the following week. Maybe.

[/hide]

I usually don't listen to either one, but I'll occasionally turn them both on. I listen to television or my itunes playlist, instead.

I have it off, play my own music list :)

Most of the time, only sounds. I turn the music on for a new quest/place or when I'm about to level. Sometimes, I just feel like having rs music on though.

I play with sounds at 50% and music at 100%.

I kinda like RS's music. It's good to train at the piano.

And the sounds help you notice when you have stopped/started doing something.

And also because I'm currently unable to access my secondary HD, which is where all my mp3's are stored #-o

I love the rs music. It just adds to the comical atmosphere of Runescape.
