Kiriyama
ow...and I thought that failing that one Spanish exam was bad LOL. Gl m8. Pm me for tudoring if you're really desperate =P~ Damn, he'd have to be very desperate. Anyway, the main thing to focus on is that you are still quite young, so the likelihood of actually getting held back at this point is low. And if its anything like it is here, they can reccomend you do, but they cannot force you to. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198

Robert_de_Sable
Yeah, but Over 100% is a mathmatical failure concerning grades. You can not do better than the most amount of marks available. ...Huh? I hope you get held back. [English translation needed]
Laura
I would agree that you should be held back. Regardless of whether or not you like it, you're failing two core classes that you need to advance through for the rest of your education. At my schools, all of which were on or near Army bases or institutions, failing two classes that were not electives resulted the person being held for a grade. I highly suggest you make those classes up, even if you are not held back.
Giordano
The way my middle school was, you couldn't "make up" classes. It was just the same to all the 6th/7th/8th graders. So the only really preventing you to advance was to completely [bleep] up your grades...which in this case, the OP hasn't done so bad. Continue on with your education...but don't slack off. And um, if you're horrible at math, don't torture yourself and take Algebra 2/pre-calc if you can avoid it. Boris5000
Yeah, but Over 100% is a mathmatical failure concerning grades. You can not do better than the most amount of marks available. ...Huh? Say you have a test that has 100 marks. You cannot have 104% of the 100 marks. It's mathematically impossible to have than 100% (unless talking about volume or other criteria e.g. I have 200% of 1 litre of milk etc). So you getting 104% of the marks is not possible. Well that's easy, if you have 200% of 1 litre of milk, you have 2 litres. You can then have more than a splash of milk in your tea/coffee. In my school, We have got straight F students and they are still doing exams at the end of term... from year 7 to year 11 been getting F's and U's. So yeah... I'm more in the A/B end of the school. I make the school look good 8-) Luck be a Lady
The Observer
If you fail, you can always go to summer school, if that's an option. Sure it sucks, but failing sucks even more.
Joes_So_Cool
Is it even possible to stay back in 7th grade without your parent/guardian requesting it? Or if you miss too many days? Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.
IGoddessI
... So. Im in 7th grade.. My grades are; History : C+ (77%) Math: F (36.54) English: B- (82%) PE: A+ (104.21%) Tech: A+ (103%) Science: F (58%) Im scared. ._. Will i be held back? Wow you guys are marked pretty harshly when I was in high school 82.5%+ = A 92%+ = A+ 77% would have been a B+ rather than a C+, Science would have been a C instead of an F because technically over 50% is a pass. The only thing you would have failed would have been math. You're in year 7, year 7 isn't a big deal. Hell when I was in year 7 I got stickers and stamps not grades LOL If you're worried get a tutor but personally I wouldn't waste your parents money until you get to more important grades such as year 10 and 12. The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours. darksonic45
Here's a couple of tips: Work your [wagon] off at the beginning of the semester and you can relax a bit during the middle. When something is sucking your grade lower then a 65 you need to make sure to get rid of it. Ask your teachers if you can do some extra credit (Most of the times the extra credit they might give you won't be worth the grade but do it anyways, it adds up) Your average is about 76 or something so you're not in too much trouble... yet. EDIT: And DO NOT play World of Warcraft. You might think I'm joking when I say it steals your soul but I'm not. If you got that addicted to a game like Maplestory... Let's just say WoW would be like drugs.
