Chicken102 Posted May 21, 2009 Share Posted May 21, 2009 Hiya guys, I can't decide whether to sell my Armadyl Godsword, and buy bandos and dragon claws, and use whip for a primary weapon. I minigame alot (house parties, pits etc), I don't pk much, and if I do, its generally F2P. I can't decide whether I should stick to my armadyl godsword + veracs helm, dharoks body and veracs skirt, or sell that, and go for strength bonus, aka full bandos, claws and neitz helm. Or another possibility would be SGS + bandos.. but I honestly can't decide.. :wall: I'm just wondering what your opinion on the matter is if possible. meb Posted May 21, 2009 Share Posted May 21, 2009 You can have the most fun with AGS from my experience. Claws are only good for pjing to be honest. A sgs is nice and all but it's not necessary. For monster hunting you last long enough already with all the gear and summons we have nowadays. And bandos is not that good imo. Full void is much better for training and high hits in general. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. Great with ffa bandos, pking, but hitting high really isn't that functional imo. I wanted to upgrade my sgs to ags too, but it turned out its better at tds so I dismissed that idea. SixFootOne Posted May 22, 2009 Share Posted May 22, 2009 Well this all depends on what you plan on doing with these - Go with sgs if you plan on doing a lot of slayer or pvm As for the bandos, i don't see the need for it. You have better defense with the barrows, and the strength bonus doesn't justify the 20mil cost of it. Of course you can buy it, but only if you really wanted/liked the looks of it. - If you just want to mess around more at house parties, mini games ect. stick with your barrows and ags. D claws are a nice spec weapon, but other then that i don't see much use to them. With the ags, not only is it a good spec weapon, it hits good normally. - Perhaps buy an sgs+ d claws instead of the bandos armor? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Assume Nothing Posted May 22, 2009 Share Posted May 22, 2009 Well.... A godsword is always good for gwding, whilst dclaws just fail hard pvm. So if you're a bosshunter, Ags or Sgs. Ags lends out for high prices, though. Not sure about Dclaws but I would offer 100k per hour with an ags whilst I'd pay half that for Dclaws. I don't know, but Godswords are certainly more flexible in what you want to do with them as opposed to dclaws is just about praying against melee in pvp and hoping to rush someone, pjing is useless as you won't get the kill, but it's a adrenaline (sp?) rush I guess. I tested them out.. claws are only good for pjing, bandos doesn't have good defense, and DFS barely hits (Rune def ftw) So now i'm using my AGS again :) (made around 1.5m profit just for testing out bandos etc too lmao, they all rose as soon as i bought >.>) I left my wife for a level 59 tank mage Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
