We can't play 'for fun'?

It's probably because "for fun" wont help jagex get any ideas about what you like in RS.

They mostly do polls to find out what you want/think. Saying you play RS for fun doesn't give them much to expand on.

EDIT - Signature far exceeds our sig limits but since it's so colourful you can keep it.

but jagex does decides what questions to put up ;)

But it still doesnt mean they wrote them or had any direct input on the question or answers

"RuneScape" and "fun" do not coincide.

So you play because you're a masochist?

Definition of Masochist.

the condition in which sexual gratification depends on suffering, physical pain, and humiliation.

You get sexual gratification from RuneScape you sick [bleep]?

Wongton is better than me in anyway~~

1. That's not the full definition of a masochist:

2.gratification gained from pain, deprivation, degradation, etc., inflicted or imposed on oneself, either as a result of one's own actions or the actions of others, esp. the tendency to seek this form of gratification.

3.the act of turning one's destructive tendencies inward or upon oneself.

4.the tendency to find pleasure in self-denial, submissiveness, etc.

Selectively quoting :wall:

2. I wasn't talking about myself, but I was asking a question to someone that posted a rather bold statement.

In short: learn to read.

No but I think they only put up those questions that give them some info on how to improve the game.

ot: yes I play RS for fun :P

Yeah thats why old player submitted polls feature questyions like

"If you were to take over Runescape with an army of evil food items, which of the following would you choose to build your army out of?"

Clearly questions tht help jagex learn how to improve the game

Playing for fun is kind of self explanatory though isn't it? If you weren't having fun, would you really be playing? :3

Not really, many people play because they are addicted?

And why are they addicted? Because they find fun in it. I think we can assume that playing a game is synonymous, at least in part, with having fun.

Well I'm getting really bored and I want to quit but.. sadly, I don't know what else I would do in my spare time. Maybe I should get a life. :wall:

It can be really difficult to find something else to do to fill the void once you have played for a long time and forgot what you used to do with your spare time. I suggest just playing for fun on RS and when the oppurtunity arrives to do something different, anything, take it.

Yeah, but I am noticing that I am playing less and less, a little bit if not each day, but each week. I just hope that someday I will get on RS occasionally but not like everyday for hours.
