You're not making legitimate suggestions to change the rules. You're not asking questions about our reasoning. As an ex-member of the moderating team I can give you the following information. The TIF forum staff aren't out in some sort of conspiracy against their users. They respect their privacy. If they gave information why someone was banned, they'd be breaching that privacy. If exceptions were made to this rule, then they'd be breaking that rule. There are no legitimate grounds to give why a person on these forums are banned. If you want to find out, ask them yourself. They know why they were banned. It's explained in detail in the ban email sent. I would also like to address the following... a person isn't banned for one offence. A person is NEVER banned for one offence bar something serious such as keylogging or pornography. A person is typically banned after a multitude of warnings. The TIF forum staff are often very generous in terms of this favouring warnings and reminders instead of bans. Furthermore, every single PM and communication sent is available for every single member of the moderating staff to view. So, if they did something wrong, it can be easily picked up by other members of the moderating staff, so there is no real "rogue" moderating happening, ever. Of course there are staff members with different ideologies, and because of this they may choose to take action on something. However, I can assure you that mostly every major action done is done with due process including, but not limited to, discussion amongst the greater moderating team. If you disagree with a specific rule, feel free to make a topic in Forum Updates and Suggestions. That's honestly the best way to get a response. Even though this topic is relaxed in terms of that because you can' t really get off topic, it is still a more suitable action. Just listen to the moderating team and what they have to say. I was candid and said I'm not allowed to say anything further. You said he has emails from TIF blocked. I told you that Account Problem forms can be used to find out why and/or appeal and/or disagree with moderator action. I don't know what else you want me to do, knowing that I can't do the one thing you're asking, and knowing that I don't have the power to change that policy. I won't be involved in any way with the complaint, and it would be handled by admins. If the claim had validity, I could potentially lose my moderator rank. And it's something they take VERY seriously. >_< So, if you really feel like a moderator isn't doing their job properly, you can go to an admin and talk to them about it.
