Seether covering "Careless Whisper". Gotta check it out, its really good.

That cover sucks...I swear, compared to the original song, it totally sucks. Never meant to be metalfied.

I don't think Saxophones are meant to be turned into guitars...That's just my opinion though...

OH! I can't believe this one wasn't mentioned:

Disturbs cover of Land of Confusion

Also... In Flames cover of Land of Confusion. The man can't sing but the guitar is full of win.

I can't believe some of these ones haven't been said yet, but:

All Along the Watchtower - Jimi Hendrix (Bob Dylan)

Tool - No Quarter (Led Zeppelin)

Dancing Days - Stone Temple Pilots (Led Zeppelin)

I Walk the Line - Live (Johnny Cash)

Catamaran - Kyuss (Yawningman)

Higher Ground - Red Hot CHili Peppers (Stevie Wonder)

Tool - No Quarter (Led Zeppelin)

That is a good cover because it actually sounds like a song Tool would make. I like the ending in Tool's version too, but overall I still think the original sounded better. Especially the vocals... Why the hell does Maynard like sounding like a robot?

No one can say no to that.

Yeah at the start his voice is too distorted.

Oh another cover featuring Maynard is A Perfect Circle's cover of Imagine, by John Lennon, also very good.

Surrender the Dancefloor made "Just Dance" a song worth listening to.

This guy is from here in Belgium, and he covered the Timberlake/50 Cent song Ayo Technology on a guitar, got a lot of a recognition for it over here, don't know if this is known abroad, but judging from the fact there're 19M views (almost double the total population of Belgium) I'm assuming yeah. Meh, it beats the original IMO.

Also, how is Mad World not mentioned? The Gary Jules cover is so much better than the original by Tears for Fear.

Oh, and more from Belgium, a band, Sylver, covered Abba's Lay all your love on me, with a bit of a techno sound, and it sounds pretty good IMHO.
