I have been trying to fight the Blue/Bronze/Iron/Steel Dragon and Fire Giant but I have no luck in getting any Dragon drops.

 

Can someone tell me where I can get Dragon Drops?

 

btw my combat is 118 if that helps

bronze and blues dont give you a good shot for dragon... and i've killed thousands of fire giants now and have never got a dragon med from them, though thats probably just bad luck on my behalf..

 

 

 

So out of those you mentioned, I'd stick to irons/steels, since they also drop plate legs/skirts in addition. Or you might want to explore new monsters. :)

If you're looking for dragon drops, you'll never get them. Dragon drop hunting is something you should not do.. it'll drive you crazy. They are rare for a reason. I personally have never gotten a drop before.

If you have over 83(I think it is) for spiritual mages, they drop dragon boots once in a while.

I wouldn't even bother hunting for dragon items there more the topper then a regular money maker.

I've done at least 1000 steel dragons in slayer tasks and have had a grand total of 0 dragon drops from them.

 

I did however get a skirt from irons.

I not got round to blocking yet, just bought slayer helm, need to buy ring makin then I'm on to blocks.

I got my d med from fire giants w/ ring of wealth, but the d men is only 60K anyway and not as good as the Neitznot Helm.

Ring isn't worth THAT much over BLOCKING THE WORST TASK EVER.

Mean while, your best course would be don't hunt for Dragon drops. Let the come to you.

Don't bother hunting for dragon drops, its slow money.

 

You'r better off killing avianises or something for money and then buying the dragon pieces yourself.

 

Of course, thats stupid too, since dragon armour isn't very good, you may as well use barrows.

PvP trick, dragon scimitars are common and you'll earn decent money.

I have had 4 or 5 dragon drops from irons/steels in slayer tasks (I don't kill them otherwise).

 

 

 

A couple weeks ago I let my avatar kill a rock crab that attacked me... it yielded a dragon shield left half! I didn't know they even dropped that!

I just love it when someone spouts out exact drop rates without any proof to back it up.

 

 

 

Don't be hoping for a D drop with your kills. It'll just disappoint you. Stick with iron drags or even spiritual mages if you have the slayer level for them. Just look at it as a bonus when it comes. Good luck.

I've been playing off and on since 02, and up until the last few years D-med was a great drop, ive hunted d-meds and left half shields since i started getting good and never got one. ive gotten 70-82 range at firegiants, no d-med. killed thousands of various other potential droppers, never got one. now its not even worth it, IMO dragon should be the best armor but its sadly not very good anymore, i still use d-legs tho
